The glory of God fills the universe, He is the source of all life and power and human beings the assigned heir for his administration because God loves us in such a way that although we are the work of his hands He has given us everything with the objective that we administer healthily and wisely what I have bet at our feet. That is why to maintain a healthy perspective as a Christian one must first understand or keep in mind that all glory and honor belongs to God and that without Him we are nothing.
1 Chronicles 29:11
greatness and power,
glory, victory and majesty.
Yours is all there is
in heaven and on earth.
Yours is also the kingdom,
and you are above all.
(New International Version)
Glory, honor, majesty, beauty, greatness, excellence ... are the synonyms that are used throughout the Bible to describe God because it is with which a person invested with royal glory is described. It is for this reason that David extols and asserts that glory and splendor belong to God and to Him alone.
God's name is great and glorious in all the earth and He has set His glory above the heavens; to make him rule over the works of his hands, which are all of us and everything, absolutely everything, he put everything under our feet to show us his great love and mercy
Psalm 115: 16
The heavens are the heavens of the Lord;
And he has given the land to the children of men.
(RVR1960)
This psalm also confirms that God has given the earth to us so that we can administer it but not in an arbitrary or selfish way but through his word so that we could understand that only from his hand we could obtain the necessary wisdom to be able to persevere and achieve victory because if we truly give priority to God in our life He will also be in everything we undertake or do on this earth.
