WHEN THE BATTLE RAISES WHAT TO DO?

in HeartChurch4 years ago

In life, we go through battles, some more difficult than others, but we need to take action and move forward to achieve our goals since our reaction is not all the same when we have to face it. The Bible is the answer to all our questions, everything we need is exposed in it and certainly some biblical accounts help us to discern the true share that we should have when we go through difficult battles.

The book of Nehemiah tells us the following story which is very important and motivating to exemplify in our actions.

Nehemiah 4: 1-15
4 When Samballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, he was very upset and made fun of the Jews. 2 Before his companions and the army of Samaria he said:
"What are these miserable Jews doing?" Do you think they will be allowed to rebuild and offer sacrifices again? Do you plan to finish in a single day? How do you think that from those burned stones, from that rubble, they are going to do something new?
3 And Tobias the Ammonite, who stood by him, added:
"Even a bitch, if he climbs on that pile of stones, he knocks it down!"...

This passage describes Nehemiah's response or action to the world's opposition when he set out to rebuild the walls in the city. Nehemiah, was an ingenious man, used a special strategy to rebuild the wall around the city and they tried to stop the work through mockery because the enemy has always looked for a way to interrupt the work of God on earth but never did he has achieved because no one can destroy God's work

In this sense it is intended to ridicule the builders, but Nehemiah is immune at least price because he serves someone who is above all, his God and Jeremiah knew it very well, he knew who he served.

The prayer, which cries out for the punishment of the enemies of the cause of God, may have been influenced by Psalm 109, which is a call to judgment against the enemies of the cause of God.But we must note that in difficulty this prophet immediately appealed for prayer.

In order for the project to be successful in the town, it had to combine a good disposition with a good job, since
The threat of an armed attack and the use of physical violence cannot stop those who consider that task as something more important than their lives, but the enemies through propaganda and intimidation try to discourage the weak, but those who are strong in God's purpose redouble their efforts. These instead complement their work tools with weapons ready to be used in case of attack.

God honors the good disposition and the faith of his children when they trust him because later the word tells us that Nehemiah was not intimidated by the outside world, that is, by his enemies and appealed to prayer and God granted him victory because in the Verse 14 we read: "remember the Lord, great and fearful: This exhortation was enough so that, united in the same devotion, they would work beyond sunset, when the stars had already appeared because the city wall was two and a half kilometers long and almost three meters wide, its construction involved a tremendous effort where God gave it victory.

Do not be discouraged, no matter the size of the battles you have to fight if God goes with you, prayer is the key to connect with God and achieve victory.
