Daniel 3: 1-7
"King Nebuchadnezzar made a golden statue whose height was sixty cubits, and its width six cubits; he raised it in the field of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
And King Nebuchadnezzar sent to meet the satraps, magistrates and captains, hearers, treasurers, counselors, judges, and all the governors of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the statue that King Nebuchadnezzar had raised. .
that upon hearing the sound of the horn, of the flute, of the drum, of the harp, of the psaltery, of the zampoña and of all instruments of music, you prostrate and adorn the golden statue that King Nebuchadnezzar has raised ... "

Man has always looked for ways to worship someone and when he does not do it in the right way he looks for other people's gods to satisfy that feeling.
The history of this quoted context teaches us that although Nebuchadnezzar had been established by the province of God to be the most influential governor of the moment, in no way would God allow his children to worship him or worship any false god who He would like it.
In this sense Nebuchadnezzar had as an idol for the people to worship him and surrender to him a golden statue that many worshiped at the time but the Bible highlights that in the middle of that town there were four boys who were not willing to worship any golden statue or any unknown god that was not Jehovah of the Army his eternal God.
These boys were three Hebrews who had conviction of the God they served and this was enough not to prostrate before the order established by the Nebuchadnezzar ruled which teaches us that there can be no law or order that is above God wherever it comes from For God is the only one who deserves honor glory and honor.
They were willing to face any challenge because of not dishonoring God and this is really what they did. They were confronted with a great challenge because these three young people had acquired a commitment and a new identity by becoming dignitaries of the kingdom.
The rejection of these young people to worship the golden statue leaves us a precious example for all Christians who have acquired a new identity and a new destiny in our lives because certainly God changes and transforms our whole being when we acquire its principles as a style of lifetime.
Anything that is disgraceful to God can today be a golden statue so we must be careful with the many golden statues that the world and influential society can offer you today to get you out of God's purpose.
The conviction and faith we have in our God has given us a new identity that makes us strong in any circumstance and as citizens of heaven we assert our biblical values on earth as a testimony that we are new creatures subject to the word of God.
