Israel is a beloved Nation of the Lord this can be seen throughout the old testament as they travel through wilderness, from land to land, from slavery to mastership etc. One you would notice that in all things one thing did stand out for the people of Israel, they trusted in the Lord which is why even when they went wayward and ended up punished, even when they were mislead and many other things that happened to them they always cried to the Lord and he delivered them in every instance.

Whenever they felt overwhelmed, whenever they were in trouble they cried and sought after the Lord and because they trust him and pursued their foes into the realm of darkness. They do not loss fights when the Lord is with them because they have absolute trust in him and in all those instances the Lord handed their enemies over to them without they having to even do much.

The question is, do you trust in the Lord, completely such that you will eave everything to him to direct your path and your future to save you from the clutches of the enemy to exert vengeance an pursue your enemies on your behalf? If you do then the battle is the Lord, continue to have faith, pray and trust in him knowing that he will make everything ok.
