My heart is soon, oh God, my heart is ready;
I will sing and trovar psalms.
Psalm 57: 7

I remember the day when I went out to buy two stringed instruments for my two young children. They were so excited, even though they didn't know how to play the instrument, they moved their fingers over the strings of the cuatro, that it seemed like they were playing like two good music professionals.
I watched with enthusiasm that animated scene of my two children that I was also moved.
Today I put myself in the shoes of King David, and I can imagine those moments when the king, both in the morning and in the afternoon, spent time praising God with a willing heart and in love with God.
This example and modeling of David is what we Christians must really learn, that despite the struggles, trials and difficult circumstances that we may be experiencing, we must recognize that singing to God relaxes us in the midst of storms.
Every day we must get up with a willing heart to thank God for everything and to sing to him with joy. As one of the psalms says, “All that breathes praise God”, in other words, all that breathe sing to God.
