Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

It is usually a great joy for a family when a child is born. Although the destiny of the child is not known, the family rejoice with much expectations and dancing.

Most times, those who were celebrated turns out to be the source of sorrows, regrets and death.

But today, I present to you JESUS, the Almighty God, commander-in-chief of the whole universe, who arrived as a child. His destiny was known before He arrived.

He brought down Himself as a child so He can be accessible to all. He was carried in the womb for nine months, delivered, breastfed and given human food.

But He's the wonderful ruler King, whose everlasting government rests upon His shoulders. There's no end to His reign and His government none can stand against.

He's the counselor that counsels with His Eyes beholding the future. By virtue of His knowledge of the moment yet to come as the creator of times, He can't mislead those that seek His counsel.

He's not just the Mighty, but the Almighty God. By His might every knee bows to Him and no tongue fails to acknowledge His Lordship in the land of the living.

He's the Father of eternity, for whether we live or die He remains our Father. His Fatherhood can't be taken away by the court, nor His paternity subjected to medical confirmations. For in Him we live and move and have our being.

Give a shout out to the Prince of peace, the one who can bring any storm to a standstill. No calamity exists or will exist that He can't bring to an end.

Jesus is born, will you allow Him into your life? The choice is yours!

Let's pray together.
Dear Lord, thank you for the gift of your only begotten son. We receive Him with everlasting joy today and always. Please help those still in darkness to come to His light today, in Jesus name. Amen.
