Luke 7:5 For he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue.
The account of the Centurion and Christ on the healing of the man's servant is a popular biblical story. But here's what the Holy Spirit is teaching us today.
When the men who were sent to call Jesus came to Him, they did not only deliver the Centurion's message, but added a testimony about him.
They told Jesus how good the man was, to the extent that he built a synagogue for them with his money, out of his goodness.
Brethren, note that this man's good deeds was too obvious to be ignored, thus everyone were looking for an opportunity to pay him back with good things.
The question is: what is our testimony in the mouths of those that are around us?
Will it be said of you that you love your neighbours or you quarrel and keep malice with them?
Will it be said that you treat others with love or you disdain them because they are not in your class?
Will it be said that you are honest in business or your words are not to be trusted?
What is you attitude towards your parents, siblings, relatives and friends?
What is your testimony in school, church, office or your street?
The list goes on, but take a look at your life. What is your testimony?
Oh, you don't care what people say? If everyone speak evil about you, then you are just a physical devil. Make a U- turn today.
Built yourself testimonies that will speak for your favour on the day of need or calamity.
Don't live a wicked life and expect God to bring good people to you. Jesus is looking for a testimony in your life that will make Him come into your life.
He followed the servants to the centurion's house without delay. Good testimonies compels the Master to favour us.
Think on this thing!

Heavenly Father, thank you for the privilege to live a life of goodness in Christ. Please help us to built good testimonies for our future, in Jesus name. Amen.
