Let me draw our attentions to Jesus's words again.... "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me,though he may die,he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die". This was the words of Christ Jesus in the Holy book. Do you believe in this?.
Jesus declared that he is the resurrection and the life. This is what our expectations are all based on. Now,the story of Lazarus only came to be to serve as an illustration forus all.
Remember this; even if there was no Lazarus, He is still the resurrection and the life. He is the life,our essence of living. He also os the resurrection! If you touch Jesus, you have touched life and you have also touched the resurrection and divine power that raises men from dead. The life that quickens the dead and remove all decays. When He comes in to our lives,there will be resurrection for us all.
"He who believes in me,though he may die,he shall live"
I count this as an assurance and definite word. Which means,even if a man dies and decays,he will surely live on the resurrection day with Christ. And He also said that,if a man did not die and believes in Him,that man shall never die again. What a promise!
This dying is not the dying of our mortal bodies but of our spiritual life and of our communion with Christ.
You may have believed many other things. You may have postponed quietly the time of visitation for your life. You may have given up every recovery and restoration hope,but hear Him with words of authority declaring..."I am the resurrection and the life.."
