Power In The Name Of Jesus (Matthew 1:21)

in HeartChurch5 years ago

The Lord has given us a 'Name' we can depend on from generation to generation and from everlasting to everlasting. That name can never be mismanaged, changed or affected by the circumstances of this life, whether it is inflation, low economic growth or natural disasters.
That bame 'JESUS' transforms people, nations and every circumstance of Life. (Isaiah 63:16):"Thou O Lord, art our Father. Our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting".
Today, we see manufacturers boldly inscribe their name on their products. The reason is that they believe in the efficacy of their product. They are not expecting any other comment than the best from their customers. As a born again Christian, JESUS is the name you can trust and rely on. Act4: 12.
DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS? John 1:12.
When does it mean to believe in the name of JESUS? All the religions of the world are fighting that name,'JESUS'. Not only would we talk about religion, but some members of the church are also involved. They hate that name when it is called repeatedly. Something on their inside tries to resist that name.
SUBDUE IN THAT NAME, JESUS!(mark 16:17)
The name of 'JESUS' is a power house, an authority, a scepter, access. When you believe and call upon tht name in times of trouble, something supernatural happens. As a priest, a believer, a born again child of God, you are not an ordinary being. Christians have sat watching for too long, while the devil runs rampage in our lives.he returns everything upside down in our lives and all we do is watch idly, waiting and hoping for a miracle to happen.
GLORY HIS NAME! John 12:23
We easily fall prey to the devil by complaining and questioning God about certain issues in our lives rather than giving glory to God for all things. We can give God the glory by not compromising our times of personal Bible study, prayer, Worship and praise. There is nothing like 'Praising' God too much. You must be faithful and steadfast.
PROCLAIM THE NAME 1 Corinthians 9:16. Life presents itself through opportunities. In every opportunity you have as a child of God, you are to attend some functions that you would think were very unnecessary. A typical example is when JESUS was invited for a dinner or party. He would gladly oblige and in the company of His disciples. While eating and drinking with other invitees, JESUS would always find way of preaching the word, teaching the word and talking about the kingdom of God. The disciples also followed this trend; in every opportunity, they preached and shared the word of God with people.
