One important duty we have as Christians is to take the word to others especially those who do not know Christ. In executing this duty most often than not we tend to make the mistakes of being signposts that are directing others as to the right path and to God without we ourselves taking that path. We becomes preachers of the word but not doers of the word. We here but do not follow through as expected of us as Christians whiles admonishing and encouraging others to do what we are not doing. Not saying it is an easy task to execute but without we following the path ourselves we are one way or the other wasting our time and deceiving ourselves that we are Christians.
Mark 16:15; He said to them, “Go into the World and Preach the Gospel to all Creation
As much as the commission is for us to bring others to Christ it is pertinent that we ourselves are well rooted in our faith and in Christ. It is not only by pointing direction that we would lead others to Christ but also by taking the route. Most often than not people learn more by vision than by auditory. Thus if we are to take the step to follow the route we would realize that we would be able to draw more people than we are already doing to Christ and then things would be much easier than we sometimes complain.
Beloved in Christ, these are hard times and every single parishioner out there would agree to this but nothing is too great or difficult for the God we serve. The need for salvation is more important now more than ever and it is pertinent that we reach out to as many as we can that we may save lives. This is what the church stands for and as parishioners we must stand with this. Let’s continue to pray and ask for Grace and Strength that we may be led by the Spirit into doing the will of God.
God Be with you, have a nice time
