Step 01

The first step we will do friends will be to cut our 1 cm wide cylinder with the help of our scissors or with a cutter, we will be cutting in the color of foam that we want a ribbon that is the one we are going to use to cover this cylinder, we will cut two since on the inside we are going to cover it with another.

Step 02

With a paper butterfly template that I had saved, I proceeded to mark the outline of the butterfly with a pencil on the back of the shiny foam so that it would be easier to cut it out. I cut four pieces of butterflies of different colors. I feel they look so pretty and the colors stand out a lot. This foam is one of my favorites because of its glitter texture. I used my super small scissors to cut out the parts of the butterfly shape. You know they are very small. Cut these areas with large scissors, so we will do it with these small ones.

Step 03

I first covered my cylinder with the pink shiny foam and then moved on to placing the butterflies and assembling them.

We move on to make a small hole between the butterflies' antennae and there we will cut our transparent nylon thread to the length we want, but remember that the one in the center is longer than the ones on the sides, so I simply pass the nylon through the hole in the butterfly's antennae and I will insert 8-10 white stones as you prefer, then I will cut the nylon to the length I want and I will hold it so that the stones do not come out.

Paso 04

Finally, I finished covering the inside of the cylinder with the same colored foam and I placed a strip of the same foam around the edge to cover that part that I really didn't like how it looked, and I also finished placing both butterflies on the sides so our ornament is ready to use and decorate our favorite corner.
