Mis queridos amigos que le gustan que ¡LES CUENTEN TODO! Pues, hagan sus palomitas con agua (por aquello de la dieta) y siéntense a leer esta historia de dolor y amor que tengo en mi hogar.
Acá en la comunidad, he leído a muchas #hivers que estan utilizando un modismo que llegó a nuestro país y las redes han contribuido a la propagación de su uso: los papeles de vinilo.
Uno de los que seguí fue el de @anne002 y se lo comenté, que "por más que los veía, yo pasaba de largo, pero su publicación me daba confianza para buscarlo".
Con esta idea, me fui a mi supermercado favorito (tengo varios) en materia de hogar y allí hay gran variedad de papeles ¡PERO, LA VARIEDAD!, así que lo primero fue elegir cuál usar de acuerdo a la zona que lo quería, ya que la idea era colocarlos de la siguiente manera: uno en la cocina y otro en el baño. De quedar algo, uno en mi peinadora como lo hizo Annie 😉.

If there is any left, one in my combing machine like Annie did 😉.
Cocina
El detalle de mi cocina, es que tiene muchos colores juntos; tiene amarillo de la pared (que por cierto es ligado con naranja), el color del mesón que es como beige con otras blancas (porque no alcanzó) y el piso junto con el techo es color madera, entonces ¿qué color colocar? Eso sí, era un dilema, porque por mí, le pongo un dorado electrizante y ya, pero siguiendo los convencionalismos y los enamoramientos visuales, decidí por este tipo madera con tonalidades marrones por aquello de que más adelante le haré puertas de madera y todo el ambiente lo quiero tipo rústico.
Decidido el color, me gustó que miden 5 metros y cuestan $5 ¡Toda una maravilla en precio y cubrimiento! Lo que me preocupaba era que la pega no fuera suficiente o si pegarlo me traería problema.
Nada de esto pasó, el proceso fue muy rápido; lo que recomiendo es que vean algún tutorial de pegarlo y disfrute si no queda bien a la primera 😆. Diría alguna amiga profesora "a ti no te enseñaron a recortar en el preescolar" y es cierto, pero lo bueno es que el rollo de vinilo viene con marcas por detrás para picarlo de manera correcta.
A mí me gustó la facilidad con la que se coloca y un consejo que le regalo que cuando se está pegando si se crean burbujas (abomba) puede tomar una aguja y abrirle un huequito e inmediatamente quedara sin aire, para seguir pegando ¡descubriendo el agua tibia! 😎.
Así quedó el de la cocina, que a dos personas que lo vieron pensaron incluso que era cerámica, porque me quedó muy lindo:

None of this happened, the process was very fast; what I recommend is that you watch a tutorial on how to glue it and enjoy it if it doesn't look good the first time 😆. A teacher friend of mine would say “they didn't teach you how to cut in preschool” and it's true, but the good thing is that the vinyl roll comes with markings on the back to cut it correctly. I liked the ease with which it is placed and a tip I give you that when you are gluing if bubbles are created (abomba) you can take a needle and open a hole and immediately be without air, to continue gluing discovering the warm water! 😎. This is how the one in the kitchen turned out, and two people who saw it even thought it was ceramic, because it looked so nice:
Como anécdota les cuento, que después que pegué ese que hacía contraste con la cerámica y todo el cuento que les hice, salió un papel IDÉNTICO a la cerámica, pero por una razón u otra no he podido comprarlo- Asunto pendiente.

Ahora viene la otra tragicomedia. Mi pared del baño, por motivos que desconozco, no me gusta como quedó su frizado. Creo que lo hicieron sin detalles o simplemente no lo hicieron, solo que se pintó así.
Entonces, el problema pensé solucionarlo con un papel que vi en azul y me enamoré porque tenía toda la visualización que quedaría ¡Genial! Pues, juzguen ustedes mismos el resultado (no sean tan crueles y malvados, por favor):
Now comes the other tragicomedy. My bathroom wall, for reasons unknown to me, I don't like the way its friezed. I think they did it without details or just didn't do it, it was just painted like that. So, I thought I could solve the problem with a wallpaper that I saw in blue and I fell in love because I had all the visualization that it would look great! Well, judge for yourselves the result (don't be so cruel and mean, please):
El papel es de muy mala calidad, no pega como el de la cocina y el corte no queda recto como el de la cocina; sumando que yo no soy experta, más fue el material que malgaste que lo que hice. También lo que les dije anteriormente, creo que la pared no ayuda... todo mal.
Traté de colocar en los sitios donde está el porta jabón o cepillo estas cintas y que va ¡Están horrorosas!, nada como se veían en el Instagram, así que decidí más adelante quitar todos esos accesorios para que no se vea tan mal y sin detalle. Comprendo que no soy la mejor decorando, pero la verdad se ve muy mal:
The paper is of very poor quality, it does not stick like the one in the kitchen and the cut is not straight like the one in the kitchen; adding that I am not an expert, it was more the material that I wasted than what I did. Also what I told you before, I think the wall doesn't help... all wrong. I tried to place in the places where the soap or brush holder is, these ribbons and they look awful, nothing like they looked in the Instagram, so I decided later to remove all those accessories so it doesn't look so bad and without detail. I understand that I'm not the best at decorating, but the truth is it looks really bad:
Lo bueno es que cubrió lo que tenía que tapar, hasta que mandé a hacer el soporte del lavamanos, que pronto se los contaré por aquí 🙏. Lo importante es que solo esa fealdad la veo yo y me molesta es a mí, así que la soporto hasta que se dé el plan 😉.

En líneas generales, la intención fue buena y se cumplió en la cocina, pero no en el baño. Lo bueno fue que me sobró mucho papel y quiero concluir la idea principal de Anne, de forrar mi peinadora que ya necesita un retoque 💯.
Yo los recomiendo, porque de verdad que le cambia la cara a todo, pero con mayor conocimiento y práctica.
La portada la hice en Canvas al igual que el separador.
El collage lo hice con ayuda de la app CollageMaker.
El traductor que usé fue DeepL.

Overall, the intention was good and was fulfilled in the kitchen, but not in the bathroom. Yo estoy por comprarlo para hacer unos arreglos en mi sala y cocina, me parece que es espectacular ese pape, recuerdo cuando yo estaba chica que estuvo muy de moda lo que era papel tapiz creo que es lo mismo pero con otro nombre.

La verdad que este papel vino a solucionar muchos problemas con el acabado de las paredes ya que solo basta colocarlo y queda de maravilla. La parte negativa es que si la pared tiene una superficie irregular ya no queda tan bien. Recuerda que solo es un papel y no va a tapar las imperfecciones de la pared. También está saliendo una especie de láminas acrílicas que.hacen la misma función y se pegan igual.
Muchas gracias por la sugerencia y sí, creo que el próximo cubrimiento será con ese tipo de material porque se pegan mucho mejor y cubre más imperfecciones. Ya estoy muy motivada con eso 😊, solo debo encontrar un color que acabe con "el carnaval" que tengo en la cocina 🙃.

Amiga, la cocina quedó súper bien, me encanta el papel que escogiste de verdad se parece a la madera, es precioso.
Del baño no diré nada, solo que hubo algunas fallas técnicas 🙈
😆 Me encanta tu sinceridad y comprensión😆. Lo bueno es que ya lo estoy resolviendo, ja, ja, ja... Definitivamente, los papeles son una excelente opción, siempre y cuando se tenga ojo para la decoración y se haga de manera armónica para todo el espacio.
