Mis queridos amigos, créanme que estas publicaciones me las estoy disfrutando, después de días de angustia y sufrimiento por todos los pormenores que pasé en diciembre "HACIENDO LUCIR MI HOGAR".
En esta oportunidad, vengo a hablarles de las paredes y cómo fue su proceso de curación y remodelación.
Mi hogar yo lo construí, es decir, yo tenía un terreno y le fui haciendo todo, desde cero. Bueno, ni tan de cero, porque tenían algunas paredes que compartía con la casa vecina.
Yo vivo en una zona cercana al río, por lo que la humedad causa un deterioro a las paredes, aunado a que son construcciones de más de 50 años, así que si o si se deben tomar medidas para no perder las paredes.
Como yo no estaba y no sabía mucho de construcción, las paredes no fueron bien frizadas y muchas tenían humedad y detalle, a pesar de que, en su momento, yo pagué ese trabajo.
Por cuestiones de qué debía mudarme decidí dejar pasar este detalle, pero ya se hizo demasiado evidente la humedad como se aprecian en las fotografías:

Otro problema que tenía, es que cuando hicieron las paredes, pero pusieron ventanas o puertas, no hicieron el frizado correcto, por lo que todo quedó muy antiestético y feo, en serio ¡qué feo! Las fotografías hablan por sí sola:

Iniciamos con los detalles. Todas las partes donde se apreciaban las imperfecciones y bajo mi indicación, fueron solventadas con lijas y pasta profesional.
The Process We started with the details. All the parts where imperfections were visible and under my indication, were solved with sandpaper and professional paste.
La parte de la humedad, la ataqué con un producto que conseguí por Instagram que se llama ULTRASECO y su función es de impermeabilizante superhidrofóbico; algo así como que el agua le tiene fobia 🤣 me perdonan si es un nombre científico, pero a mí me causa risa, asumo que es cuestión de Marketing. Lo cierto es que lo hacen en Maracaibo- edo. Zulia y lo conseguí en una tienda en mi ciudad por $18. Es un litro y alcanza para unos 10 m de superficie.
La indicación para colocarlo es limpiar el área, agitar por 5 min, aplicar con un rociador y después de 24 h, se pinta. Es sin olor y se absorbe rápido.
The humidity part, I attacked it with a product that I got through Instagram called ULTRASECO and its function is superhydrophobic waterproofing; something like water phobia 🤣 forgive me if it is a scientific name, but it makes me laugh, I assume it is a matter of marketing. The truth is that they make it in Maracaibo, Zulia state and I got it in a store in my city for $18. It is a liter and is enough for about 10 m of surface. The indication to apply it is to clean the area, shake for 5 min, apply with a sprayer and after 24 h, it is painted. It is odorless and absorbs quickly.
Para la pintura, compré 3 cuñetes de pintura clase A color beige para pintar toda la casa: cocina, sala, baños, cuartos y depósito.

En este caso, quisiera decir que todo salió perfecto, pero no.
Imperfecciones. No fueron eliminadas todas. Tuve que prescindir del servicio del primer señor porque aunque su trabajo del techo fue impecable, las paredes no supo arreglarlas. Creo que no entendió el uso del producto.
Conseguí a mi tío que hizo el trabajo, pero cuando estuve detrás de él 🙃. Quedaron muchas imperfecciones que son muy notables, así que debo contratar a otra persona para terminar los trabajos; las partes más afectadas quedaron en el cuarto y baño.

I had to dispense with the service of the first gentleman because although his work on the ceiling was impeccable, the walls he did not know how to fix them. I don't think he understood the use of the product. I got my uncle who did the job, but when I was behind him 🙃. There were many imperfections left that are very noticeable, so I have to hire another person to finish the work; the most affected parts were left in the bedroom and bathroom.
Impermeabilización. El producto no me gustó. Considero que aunque les dije que lo aplicaran, no lo hicieron correctamente, no lo dejaron secar e incluso le aplicaron pasta encima, entonces como que perdí el trabajo con el líquido comprado. De igual forma, la pasta no cubrió completamente las superficies y tener los detalles que yo quería.
Waterproofing I did not like the product. I consider that although I told them to apply it, they did not do it correctly, they did not let it dry and even applied paste on top of it, so I kind of lost the job with the liquid I bought. Likewise, the paste did not completely cover the surfaces and have the details I wanted.
Pintura. La pintura que compré pensé que era satinada o brillo seda porque por cada una pagué $80; lo cierto es que es tipo mate, lavable pero mate. Lo único bueno es que si cubre y un solo cuñete alcanzó para la mayoría de la casa, quizás un 80 %, contando que malgastaron material pintando sin lijar o preparar la pared.
Decidí para no abrir el otro cuñete, ya que solo me faltaba una pared y un cuarto, comprar una pintura clase B, y usarla. Pues, la pintura no salió muy bien, se nota el cambio de color y la calidad no fue tan buena como la clase A.
Por esto, cuando vaya a hacer los nuevos arreglos de la humedad y lijar las otras partes que no se arreglaron, porque no estoy nada conforme con el trabajo, tendré que abrir el cuñete de pintura y pintar las paredes faltantes.
Si tendría que sacar un porcentaje, quedé 50 % conforme porque aunque hubo cambio y mis paredes quedaron limpias, que ya les hacía falta su pintura, me falta arreglar esos detalles para quedar mi hogar tal cual como quiero 😎.
¿Soy exigente? ¡Sí! porque se que mi hogar lo merece y puede lucir mejor. Me tocará sacar un tiempo y dinero para poder hacer estos nuevos arreglos.
Si estan en Barcelona, edo. Anzoátegui y tienes un buen pintor y reparador de humedades, me gustaría contratarlo para hacer el trabajo. Pagamos en HBD 😊.
Paint The paint I bought I thought it was satin or silk gloss because I paid $80 for each one; the truth is that it is matte, washable but matte. The only good thing is that it does cover and a single cuñete was enough for most of the house, maybe 80%, counting that they wasted material painting without sanding or preparing the wall. I decided not to open the other cuñete, since I only needed one wall and one room, to buy a class B paint, and use it. Well, the paint did not come out very well, the color change is noticeable and the quality was not as good as the class A paint.
So, when I go to do the new damp repairs and sand the other parts that were not fixed, because I am not at all happy with the work, I will have to open the paint pan and paint the missing walls. If I had to take a percentage, I was 50% satisfied because even though there was a change and my walls were clean, and they were missing their paint, I still need to fix those details to get my home as I want it 😎.
Am I demanding? Yes! because I know that my home deserves it and can look better. I will have to take some time and money to be able to make these new arrangements. If you are in Barcelona, Anzoátegui state and you have a good painter and damp repairman, I would like to hire him to do the job. We pay in HBD 😊.

La humedad es un problema difícil de sanar y mas si existe una filtración. A pesar de todo me alegro que hayas solucionado una gran parte, ojalá encuentres a la persona indicada para que quedé tal como quieres. La diferencia en la calidad de la pintura de acuerdo a la clase es bastante notable.

Amiga, la humedad es una plaga y la verdad cuesta que la pared vuelva a quedar como nueva, pero hay gente que trabaja muy bien y de verdad ese tipo de reparaciones no se notan.
En mi caso lo hace mi esposo y bueno jajajaja no diré más 🤣🤣🤣
Dentro de todo, y aunque no estas al 100% conforme pudiste solucionar unas cosas y eso es genial. Luego terminas de resolver lo que no te dejó conforme.
