Hace unos días se le pidió mi esposo como favor que hiciera en mi trabajo de electricidad, y como él lo quería ir solo pues me pidió que lo acompañara, el trabajo consistía en cambiar unas lámparas con balastro y tubos de halogeno, por tubos Led. No sé si haya gente por ahí queriendo hacer el cambio y no ha podido, pero espero que con mi publicación tengan una idea de como hacerlo.
Mi esposo me pidió que le acompañara principalmente porque debía subirse a escaleras y bajar toda la base de las lámparas para poder cambiarlas, y esto es algo que estando solo podía ser peligroso. Así que yo hice un excelente trabajo sosteniendo la escalera y tomando fotos de el proceso, pero más allá de eso, también aprendí a hacer el cambio que es súper rápido y sencillo de hacer.

Para comenzar luego de bajar la base de la lámpara hay que desatornillar los balastros y todo el sistema de cableado que este contiene, las desventajas que veo al seguir utilizando lámparas con balastro es que estos consumen un poco más de energía, duran menos que los tubos Led y honestamente es un poquito más fastidioso cambiarlos, quizá antes se necesitaban más para que un lugar estuviera bien iluminado, pero ahora eso lo podemos conseguir a un menor costo y con mucha más facilidad en los tubos Led.
Luego de desarmar el cableado y el balastro, entonces fue hora de poner los socates, estos son especiales para tubos Led es el T8, la parte más complicada fue adaptarlos a la base de la lampara, pero pudimos improvisar con un poquito de cable, colocandolo con mucho cuidado para que no tuviera contacto con el otro cable que iba a mandar la electricidad. Medimos para que los tres socates quedaran al mismo nivel de cada lado y luego, cometimos el error de subir la base para conectarla.

El mismo cable debía llevar electricidad a los tres socates y por ende encender los 3 tubos.
Lo genial de estos socates y los tubos Led es que solo necesitas ajustar y girar una sola vez para que calse perfectamente, de hecho queda tan bien ajustado que por más movimientos qué hagas no se sueltan, de hecho nosotros subimos la base con todo y los tubos puestos y no hubo ningún problema, claro lo hicimos así porque en este caso iba a ser más fácil que poner los tubos directo en la base ya colocada en el techo.
