I'm going to tell you about a small repair I did in the house these days that I had a free afternoon and I dedicated myself to change a faucet that is in the garden and that is used for watering the plants in the garden and porch and that had been bad for a long time.

Hola amigos de Hive y @home.solutions, espero que estén bien, por aquí todo bien gracias a Dios. Paso para contarles de una pequeña reparación que hice en la casa en estos días que tuve una tarde desocupada y me dediqué a cambiar una llave que está en el jardín y que se usa para el riego de las plantas de ahí del jardín y del porche y que tenía bastante tiempo mala.

It was damaged some time ago, it didn't close completely and the spout where the hose is connected was already cracked, but as it is only used when the water arrives and the cycle is 30 to 40 days I hadn't taken the time to change it because I thought it wasn't necessary to use it once a month.
But since my mother in law had recently bought a faucet to replace one she had in the laundry room that she didn't like the way it looked, I grabbed that one to replace the broken faucet and with the help of @elmundodemiri as a photographer I share the process with you in case it helps you.

Está llave estaba como les dije está
dañada hace tiempo, no cerraba completo y quedaba pasando agua y el pico dónde se conecta la manguera ya estaba agrietado, pero como solo se usa cuando llega el agua y el ciclo es de 30 a 40 días no me había tomado el tiempo para cambiarla porque para usarse una vez al mes pensaba que no era necesario.
Pero como hace poco la suegra había comprado una llave para sustituir una que tenía puesta en la lavandería que no le gustaba como quedaba, agarré esa para reemplazar la llave rota y con ayuda de @elmundodemiri como fotógrafa les comparto el proceso por si les sirve de ayuda a ustedes.
Remove the old wrench, and when I was loosening the clamp that held the hose to the spout, it ended up splitting, so I chopped the hose and remove the piece of the spout of the wrench.
Then I put Teflon to the faucet that I was going to replace and with the help of a pipe wrench I screwed it to the tube, and as the spout of the faucet that I put is a little big the hose did not fit well, then I took a tinder and heated the hose, and this as it is plastic loosens by heat, then still with the hot hose I introduced an aluminum tube that is used for curtains to widen the hose and to be able to put it easily in the spout of the faucet, then I tightened the new clamp, because the other one was totally rusted, and it was well tightened to avoid water leaks. Luckily the water arrived yesterday and everything was perfect.

Retire la llave vieja, y cuando estaba aflojando la abrazadera que sujetaba la manguera al pico, esté se terminó de partir, así que pique la manguera y retire el pedazo del pico de la llave.
Luego le coloque teflón a la llave que iba a sustituir y con la ayuda de una llave de tubo la enrosque al tubo, y como el pico de la llave que puse es un poco grande no entraba bien la manguera, entonces tome un yesquero y calenté la manguera, y esto como es plástico se afloja por el calor, entonces luego aún con la manguera caliente introduje un tubo de aluminio que se usa para las cortinas para ensanchar la manguera y poder meterla fácilmente en el pico de la llave, luego apreté la abrazadera nueva, por qué la otra estaba totalmente oxidada, y quedó bien apretado para evitar fugas de agua. Por suerte el agua llegó ayer y todo quedó perfecto.

Que bueno que aprovechaste esa llave para cambiar la otra, no importa que no sé use seguido, es Bueno tener todo en orden en casa
Justo a tiempo pudiste hacer la reparación para qué aprovecharás de probar cuando llegara el agua. Aquí en casa esas llaves se dañan a cada rato porque usamos mucha agua de pozo y esa agua tiende dañar mucho todas las llaves y yo no soporto ver una gota de aguar perderse así que aquí en casa tengo esa lucha y con los bombillos. Amigo que bueno que pudiste realizar la reparación de la manguera, es muy bueno porque ya cuando entro el agua pudiste ver si el trabajo quedó bien echo, lo hiciste justo a tiempo, bien por ti, hay que tratar de restablecer lo que está roto a tiempo para que no se acumule, muchas gracias por compartir el paso a paso, a mi me encanta arreglar cosas.
