Hola amigos de Hive, espero que tengan una excelente semana, hoy les vengo a contar de un pequeño trabajo que hice en la casa en estos días como fue quitar dos puertas de madera que estaban en un baño en la planta de abajo de la casa porque ya no se van a necesitar en ese lugar y ya les cuento por qué y cómo fue el proceso de quitarlas.

As you know these days the mother in law had to move to the bottom floor of the house because her joints were bothering her a lot for going up and down the stairs constantly, so she decided to move to one of the rooms downstairs, and I showed you in my blog how it was although it was different because we moved the furniture and I lowered the hairdresser and a mirror, but still missing her closet that does not fit there so she is going to use the other room.
Those two rooms are divided by a bathroom that can be entered from each of the rooms and which she is using, and as both doors open inwards it is uncomfortable and annoying to be moving the doors and as she is alone downstairs she decided to remove both to be more comfortable and asked me the favor to remove them so she would have everything as a single large space for her.

Como ustedes saben en estos días la suegra se tuvo que mudar a la planta de abajo de la casa porque le estaban molestando mucho las articulaciones por subir y bajar las escaleras constantemente, así que decidió mudarse a uno de los cuartos de abajo, y yo les enseñé en mi blog cómo había quedado aunque esta distinto porque cambiamos de lugar los muebles y le bajé la peinadora y un espejo, pero todavía falta su closet que no cabe ahí entonces va a usar el otro cuarto.
Esos dos cuartos están divididos por un baño que se puede entrar por cada una de las habitaciones y el cual está utilizando, y como ambas puertas abren hacia adentro se le hace incómodo y fastidioso estar moviendo las puertas y como ella está sola abajo decidió en quitar ambas para está más cómoda y me pidió el favor de que se las quitara así le quedaría todo como un solo espacio amplio para ella.

So I looked for the spade screwdriver to loosen the screws on the hinges and remove them completely, but as those doors are very old the screws were too hard, so I put some sewing machine oil on them, which was the only thing I had at hand at the time, and left it for a few minutes. Then I started to loosen the screws with the screwdriver, they were still stuck but little by little they started to give way, and I removed one of the doors completely.
Then I started with the other door, I was able to loosen the bottom and middle hinges but the top one I spent a long time trying to loosen it but I couldn't. So I took the screwdriver to loosen it, so I took the paddle screwdriver and placed it on top of the pin and with the help of a hammer I gave a blow to the pin to loosen them and thus be able to remove it and disassemble the door, but I still had the hinge on the frame, I put more oil and I will wait a few days to see if I can loosen the screws and remove it completely.

Así que busque el destornillador de pala para aflojar los tornillos de la bisagras y retirarlas completamente, pero como esas puertas son muy viejas los tornillos estaban demasiado duros, así que les coloqué un poco de aceite para máquina de coser, que era lo único que tenía a la mano en ese momento, y lo deje unos minutos. Luego empezé con el destornillador a aflojar los tornillos, aún estaban pegados pero poco a poco empezaron a ceder, y puse retirar completa una de las puertas.
Luego me puse con la otra puerta, pude aflojar las bisagras que está abajo y la del medio pero la superior estuve un buen rato tratando de aflojarla pero no pude, así que tome el destornillador de paleta y la coloqué en la parte superior del pasador y con la ayuda de un martillo le di un golpe al pasador para aflojarlos y así poder retirarlo y desmontar la puerta, pero todavía me quedo la bisagra en el marco, le coloque más aceite y voy a esperar unos días para ver si puedo aflojar los tornillos y retirarla por completo.

Ahora el cuarto quedó mucho más cómodo para ella. Falta retirar las bisagras que faltaron. Fue un gran trabajo
Si, y por lo menos no fue tan difícil desmontar las puertas
Sii debió tomar su tiempo bajar los tornillos que estaban ay desde hace mucho, menos mal tenía aceite de máquina para echarle y así pudiera hacer mejor su trabajo.
Si, con los años el óxido hace lo suyo, nosotros vivimos cerca del mar y eso también ayuda aparte de los años, pero al final se pudieron sacar por lo menos
