Roll up Roll up - Lightpainting Madness

Top evening of madness in the hills off the Snake Pass with my mate Paul. I don't think I've ever smiled so much shooting and looking at a light painting shot as I have with this one. Theres something about it that makes me happy.

This wasn't the shot I had planned. I was after a star trail behind the dome tent but it didn't get dark enough till about half past nine and I have work early in the morning. So a change of plan and perspective. I wish I'd have got into position earlier as the sunset was the reddest I've seen in a long time.
Shutter open, crawled in the tent to spin the dome. Crawled back out and lit the scene with the Led Lenser P7.

The idea for this series of shots was born the night before......

Devoid of ideas just for a change I have decided the best way of coming up with an idea is to get the camera out and start snapping.

There aren't many situations in life where being a short arse is an advantage but when it comes to spinning a dome in a childs big top its a great help.

Span the dome, crawled out and lit the scene with the Led Lenser.

I really must get my done tool fixed up and the tent out of storage as the tent shots make me smile.

I don't suppose you need an excuse to buy a new tent haha. Needs to be repeated that's for sure.

I just need some fresh leds for the dome tool and I'll be good to go :)
