My progress of front lever |
Hello, a warm greeting to all my friends from the #liketu and #hive communities, and a very special shoutout to all my friends and teammates from the #swc community! It’s an honor to address you all at this moment. My name is Alejo (@alejo-sw), and I’m a calisthenics athlete. Today, I want to share with you how my day went, especially my training session. Today was intense and full of challenges, but also filled with learning and personal growth.
We started with a demanding and challenging front lever routine, accompanied by my friends @wilber-sw and @victor-gs. After a good warm-up, we focused on the main exercises. Today, we decided to train to failure, as my main goal is to strengthen my pulling strength and improve my front lever. We began with an advanced tuck hold, holding it for as long as possible, followed by advanced tuck pulls, and finished this first circuit with pull-ups. We performed all these exercises to failure, repeating the circuit four times. It was an exhausting but rewarding experience, as each repetition brought us closer to our goals.
In the second circuit, we focused on muscle-ups to failure. For those who couldn’t complete the muscle-ups, we did explosive pull-ups as an alternative. We also included bodyweight rows and a half-lay hold. Again, we performed all these exercises to failure, completing four effective sets. This circuit was particularly challenging, as muscle-ups require a combination of strength, technique, and explosiveness, but we managed to complete it successfully in the end.
For our final circuit, we decided to strengthen our core, as it’s a fundamental part of calisthenics. We did plank holds, L-sit raises, and other specific exercises to strengthen the core. We performed four sets of each exercise, allowing us to work this area intensely.
To finish, as always, I like to balance my training, so with the energy I had left, I practiced several handstand positions. This exercise not only helps me improve my balance and body control but also allows me to relax after such an intense session.
That’s all for today’s routine. I hope you enjoyed stopping by and reading about my progress. I truly appreciate your support and motivation, and I look forward to seeing you in my next post. Until next time!

Wow, this is so inspiring! 😍 It sounds like you had an amazing day full of hard work and progress! I think it’s really cool that you were training with your friends @wilber-sw and @victor-gs, and the exercises you did sound super challenging. The front lever seems like a tough move, but I love how you pushed through it, especially with all the circuits you did! 💪
It’s awesome that you’re focusing on building strength and balance with muscle-ups, pull-ups, and core exercises! I think those moves look really fun, and it must feel super rewarding when you start seeing improvement. I also think it's great that you finish your workouts by practicing handstands to relax and work on your balance – that’s like a cool superhero move! 😎🦸♂️
I’m really amazed by your dedication and the effort you put into every set. It’s not easy to train to failure, but you keep going, and that’s what makes you stronger! 💥 I hope to see even more progress in your next posts! Thanks for sharing your journey with us, and I’m sure you’re going to reach even higher goals soon! Keep it up! ✨
