El pasado 13 de marzo, el clan Shimazu eligió el Fortín Solano como escenario para celebrar el cumpleaños de su líder, priorizando un entorno único sobre actividades temáticas. Este bastión colonial, construido en 1766 para proteger Puerto Cabello de ataques navales, ofreció un marco visual excepcional: sus 173 escalones y vistas panorámicas de 360° del puerto y el Parque Nacional San Esteban sirvieron como telón de fondo para una jornada lúdica.
Los miembros del clan y compañeros ascendieron la cuesta, un desafío físico que recompensó con una perspectiva privilegiada de la ciudad. Aunque el fortín alberga el Museo del Porteñazo (dedicado al conflicto de 1962) y guías especializados narran su historia, el grupo optó por momentos de camaradería y fotografías creativas ("skills"), aprovechando la arquitectura militar y el entorno natural sin profundizar en su contexto histórico.
La celebración incluyó juegos, risas y reflexiones espontáneas sobre el lugar, aunque sin actividades estructuradas vinculadas a su pasado. El Roso Restaurantebar cercano y la tienda de souvenirs (con chocolate local) complementaron la experiencia, ofreciendo opciones gastronómicas y recuerdos sin vinculación temática.
La experiencia fusionó lo histórico con lo cotidiano, destacando cómo espacios emblemáticos pueden revitalizarse para encuentros sociales, incluso sin enfoque cultural explícito.
