En el día de hoy les compartiré parte de lo que fue mi participación el pasado 31 de enero en la competencia Versus por aleatoriedad en su primera edición. Siendo sinceros, solamente competí por diversión y disfrutar la experiencia; en lo personal, no tenía planeadas mis rondas ya que no estaba seguro si participar o ser solo un espectador durante toda la competencia. Sin embargo, varios muchachos del parque me motivaron a que compitiera y pasara un buen rato.
Greetings to the whole Hive and Street Workout community! I hope everyone is doing great, guys. Today I'm going to share with you part of my participation in the first edition of the Versus Randomness competition on the 31st of January. To be honest, I only competed for fun and to enjoy the experience; personally, I didn't have my rounds planned as I wasn't sure whether to participate or just be a spectator during the whole competition. However, several guys from the park encouraged me to compete and have a good time.
En mi publicación anterior, si se acuerdan, había dicho que me anoté de último por haber pensado muchas veces si participar o no. Lo bueno de ser uno de los últimos atletas en pasar es que tienes tiempo de calentar tu cuerpo por completo para evitar algún tipo de lesión. Entre tanta espera, ya era mi turno de pasar a las barras y sacar lo mejor de mí. Mi primera ronda fue la más completa y en la que dejé toda mi fuerza para los estáticos. Aún sigo siendo un atleta amateur en proceso de llegar a semi-profesional. Como podrán ver en el video, mi primera ronda fue muy buena; no tenía tanta fuerza, sin embargo, hice lo mejor posible con el back lever a una mano, chicos.
In my previous post, if you remember, I had said that I signed up last because I had thought many times whether to participate or not. The good thing about being one of the last athletes to pass is that you have time to warm up your body completely to avoid any kind of injury. In between so much waiting, it was my turn to go to the bars and do my best. My first round was the most complete and the one in which I left all my strength for the static. I am still an amateur athlete in the process of becoming semi-professional. As you can see in the video, my first round was very good; I didn't have that much strength, but I did my best with the one-handed back lever, guys.
Siento que esta competencia para mí fue la mejor y en la que combiné muy bien los elementos del Street Workout. A pesar de que me faltaron muchas cosas por mejorar en mis rondas, porque si ven el video completo, estáticos como la plancha, front lever y la parada de manos, me falta combinarlas mejor en las competencias. Aquí es donde uno se da cuenta en qué puede mejorar. Porque en tus entrenamientos normales no verás tan fácil en qué estás fallando, a menos que tengas unos amigos que sean bastante avanzados para que te corrijan. Un gusto poder compartir las rondas con ustedes, familia SWC.
I feel that this competition was the best for me and I combined the elements of Street Workout very well. Even though I lacked a lot of things to improve in my rounds, because if you watch the whole video, statics like the plank, front lever and handstand, I lacked to combine them better in the competitions. This is where you realise where you can improve. Because in your normal workouts you won't see so easily where you are failing, unless you have some friends who are advanced enough to correct you. Nice to be able to share the rounds with you, SWC family.
