Hi, friends!
Hyundai Motorsport didn't ditch their Rally2 program but instead they developed some new tarmac components which they will homologate soon for the competition.
I think this is good news because sport needs as much as possible manufacturers in the Rally2 category and Hayden Paddon proved that Hyundai's car is good enough when he won European Rally Championship with it.
Now they gave the new 2025 car in Kris Meek's hand for a test on Rally du Var in France to see how quick the car will be. Meeke is a proven WRC event winner with five overall victories. But what is more important that he won Portuguese national Championship with Hyundai i20 Rally2 car so he can easily compare an old and new machinery.
We wait for some nice news in the close future. Stay tuned..
