New rally event for us this weekend

in Rally24 days ago

Hi, friends!

As I wrote these days, we are in the middle of work before small tarmac event in Italy because we must be prepared better for the next season.

Clio Rally5 was very easy to drive with basical suspension and nothing special to be awared of. On the other hand Ford Fiesta Rally3 is a small beast, two categories above Clio with much more advanced suspension which can be adjusted for any surface that suits you better.

We didn't have opportunity to test ahead of Central European Rally and that was really bad. We thought if we pass the shakedown five times, it will be good. In the end, organizer decided that shakedown was only for WRC1 and WRC2 cars. Yeah, we went on special stage one without single km of fast driving on tarmac after Croatia Rally in April.

So we must test and what is better then to test in the controlled enviroment like race where everything is closed and you have infrastructure for racing.

We have only four special stages this weekend (plus shakedown). Please wish us luck!

Good luck with the race. It must be tough to go in with little time to prepare and tune the car. More experience has to be useful though.
