The wise ones learn through other people's experience, rather than theirs.
A lot of people have judged situation they've never been in, only to act same way when they wer the same shoe.
One thing I've learned in life, is never to judge a situation we have little knowledge of. Many things are hidden from us, the whys, the how's, and everything in between.
I see some people advising people to handle a particular situation in a certain way whereas they've never walked in that shoe before.
It's always easy to tell people what to do and how to react until we actually walk in their shoes, then we will truly understand what it feels like to be them or what exactly they are going through.
Let's refrain from assuming they are doing too much or too little when it comes to the way they handle certain situations.
Critical situation requires drastic measures and so it is.
We only want to stay thankful if the situation that will test our patience hasn't hit us. And while watching others and how they handle it, we too can tap from their wealth of experience and can be well equipped to face a similar situation when it arises.
Another thing I've learned is being quick to listen and slow to speak. Whenever people find the courage to pour out their heart, we don't want to be too fast to dish out advice, all they need most time is empathy and a listening ear. Some of them know the right step to take, but they just want to be heard, that's why they pour their heart out to someone who they feel cares. It is a wise thing to listen and not judge, nor use their weaknesses against them.
Be a safe haven for the vulnerable and anyone who deem it fit to share their emotions with you.
Even if you have no idea how they feel, imagine you're wearing their shoes and show some concern. Don't write them off, it will weaken them the most and don't downplay their feelings no matter how insignificant you think it is.
May we all try to be a shoulder people can lean on in dire times so that we too can have a shoulder to lean on when it gets tough to carry on.

People have seemed to forgotten how to help others or simply don't care; it's like humans are losing their humanity.
True, humans need to do better.
True, they do.

Truth, it's easier to judge people, but the question to ask is how will I react if I was in their shoes?
Good question
Judging situations that one hasn't been in is only a beacon for karma to do it's work because the way tables tend to turn these days can be very surprising.
Yeah, table turns in surprising ways hehe
