We were taught to feel the pain of others as if it was our own pain.
And that's how it is meant to be. If others do the opposite, it shouldn't stop us from doing what needs to be done. Our humanity shouldn't be dead in us. Rather, it should be alive and thriving because that's how we can truly see and feel.
