Life On The Sunny Side

Positivity.gif

The company you keep around may be one of the most important things you do in life. Surrounding yourself with people that will be there for you and support you on the things you love to do is a crucial part of living a happy life. It is never about the number of friends you have but the quality of them. Growing up and going through school we often look to become super popular or accepted by the masses when all we truly want is someone to listen to us and share the same interests.

We think being accepted by everybody and the center of attention will bring us happiness which for some it does but there is nothing more special than having those friends that you can count on for anything. Whether it be a small conversation or something life-changing we need those people that are in our corner cheering us on it strengthens our spirits and lets us accomplish things we only dream of.

Always surround yourself with people that are real and will tell it to you straight but also give you that motivation or support to pursue the things you are most passionate about. Choose to live life on the sunny side of the street with the people that want to walk down that same path as you.

You are certainly right. Sadly most of the people who are a good force in my life are online. And as much as I would like to be on my PC 24/7 I cant lol. I lived a little more on the wild side when I was younger. And while I had a ton of friends then when I hit 30 and decided to grow up and be an actual adult I lost all those "friends". So basically now I have two people who live in my area that are true friends. Everyone else is an online friend. And honestly they are some of the best friends I have every had. I have issues with depression like others, and it has been amazing how this community of gamers on Hive and blogging has given me this little light that is now mine.

You know I feel the exact same way man. I have maybe 3 friends in my real life that I would consider in that regard, I'm so similar in that sense that all the people I have met on here have been way more helpful and supportive than anybody else I have met. I have 1 friend @known4knowledge who is that guy I could count on him for anything and he has always been there for me but as for others, I don't think I could tbh. I was struggling a lot with depression myself buddy but this community definitely gave me that light as well and the passion to keep living and pursue great things.

Hopefully, we will be able to meet someday I have made a lot of lazy choices previously and never had a passion or will to travel but now I wanna come to meet some of the amazing members of the community that have had such a huge impact on me. You are definitely on that list brother and need to come to give Jesse Jane some pets and get her a toy LOL.

!PIZZA

I do live in Florida so the weather is always sick here lol. But yea man I would love to hang out with a bunch of people on here. Maybe a cruise at some point or something lol. We are definitely homies man. And Jesse Jane needs more friends so she would love to say hi.

Nice perspective. It's kind of sad to say that most people still go with the quantity of friends instead of quality and it requires a bit of a learning curve to differentiate between one kind and the other. Thanks for sharing your thoughts here 😀
