Merry Christmas to all the amazing people here on hive I hope you had a wonderful Christmas filled with all the love, joy, and scents only associated with this special time of year.
I have been on here for 4 months and this community and all the relationships I have made have been empowering to me and made me find purpose in life. I want to wish you all the best and may you achieve anything you put your mind to.
It was a nice and cozy Christmas in my household where I shared love and laughter with my parents. We only have each other and it is nice just enjoying their company for the holidays. We made a nice small turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy and cream beans.
Yum Yum Yum that is my plate nice and simple I'm not a fan of cranberry sauce so it is just loads of turkey a heaping slab of potatoes and some of those lovely cream beans.
Homemade pumpkin pie, one of the few pies I love and the smell it radiates is just like one of those cartoon animations.
My after-dinner dessert, a fresh slice of the pumpkin pie with a fresh dollop of whip and sprinkling of cinnamon. I can tell you this went down quick and I went for seconds haha what can I say I have a huge sweet tooth this time of year.
Finally a picture of me in my Batman garb, I have no ugly sweaters to wear haha so I kept warm in the new outfit I got. My hair was a mess lol but it was Christmas a day of relaxing and being lazy for the most part haha.
I had an amazing day hanging out with mom and dad sharing the love of each other's company having some Christmas laughs and eating a wonderful dinner. At the end of the day that is what I have found to love most about Christmas, not the presents or extravagant decorations but just being with the ones you love most and having a great time.
To all my fellow hivers who have welcomed me with open arms, I extend this blessing to you wishing you all the love and happiness in the world. You all made this journey of mine so incredible and inviting and have given me the inspiration and power to share stories of my everyday life and other things I'm interested in.
And finally, I wanted to leave you all with this beautiful song that the wonderful @luthien12 shared with me a few days back. I was completely awestruck by this little girl Amira with the voice of an angel I was left in tears by her beautiful and powerful voice. There is something so special about opera music that really touches the soul and makes you feel a certain way so enjoy this beautiful piece.
