They say that truth is neither good nor bad. It's just truth. I've heard different personalities talking about the shrinking supply of goods here in the U.S. The speakers were poking fun at the different techniques stores are using to disguise the change from their customers.
As a Dasher, and delivery shopper I get to see it first hand. Honestly I wouldn't have noticed it, if I wasn't paying attention. It's subtle. I walk into a store looking for a 12 oz pack of crackers. Only to realize it's actually an 11.5 box of crackers, or a 24 pack of something. Yet now it's a 22 pack instead. The price is the same. It's the quantity that has slightly diminished.
Well yesterday I was in my local pharmacy, and I notice that the shelves were different. Entire sections were missing. I'd been there countless times this week while delivering. As I scanned the store, I began to notice the subtle change.
I understand these stores have to maintain an appearance. It's not their fault. However there are changes happening everywhere. There's an effort to hide these changes from us. Yet they still affect us. Ignorance can only be bliss if we're not negatively affected by it. However if I'm making choices based on an ignorant view of reality. The choices I make will lead to unexpected results.

I've noticed the same thing while shopping bro. It's so sneaky how the packaging changes just a bit, but it makes a big difference. It's pretty sad when you realize you're getting less for the same price. They reduce it by a tiny amount and infact sometimes increase the price a little on top of that
Yeah it's funny I mean even the bottled water. I mean how much could an ounce of water cost these companies. And yeah if you consider the billions of gallons that they sell that one ounce makes a huge difference to them.
Absolutely does make a huge difference it's like 1 percent of 10 and 1 percent of a million, it suddenly becomes very significant
