The best weed in the neighborhood 🌱 La mejor hierba del barrio

Buenos dias, comunidad @thoughtfulposts.

Good morning, @thoughtfulposts community. I would love to be able to participate for the first time in the Thoughtful Thursday initiative, thanking its creator @wesphilbin for inviting us to reflect.
In this prompt #9, "The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence," meaning that just because it "seems" like someone has it better, it doesn't mean that's the case; I will try to explain a possible personal interpretation and how it applies to my life.

This phrase made me think "wow, my neighbor really has his garden more tidy, more beautiful, flowery. Literally. Juan Carlos retired who dedicates his free time to gardening and has a radiant lemon tree full of beautiful golden fruits of sun. I sincerely admire him (although sometimes in the heat of summer, I have envied his juicy lemons) I consider him a mentor in the way he cultivates his space because it generates in me, more desire to cultivate mine.
I began to believe it is essential to go from looking with distrust and with envy or suspicion to looking at everyone as teachers, who have something to say from their own personal experience. It is easy for me and I like to adopt the role of eternal learner, because I feel that every day until the last breath I will be receptive to grasping new ways of seeing reality. And this fills me with curiosity every day to start and see the thousand different ways that sometimes exist to do the same thing.

Looking at the neighbor's garden is a beautiful way to be inspired and it should never have been a reason to compare myself because it seems to me that is the main mistake. In comparing, in wanting, in some way positioning something above another thing when in this universe so full of magic and life everything occupies a precious place and of key importance.

Perhaps I could clarify more (I hope) with an oriental legend that I heard during a trip that more or less went like this. A very humble father and his son had only one horse and one day it ran away. The neighbors came to lament their loss and the man said "only time will tell."
A week later the horse reappeared and brought with it many wild horses, so now the family owned dozens of animals. The neighbors came to tell him What good news sir, and the father said again: "only time will tell."
A few days later, the son was riding one of the new horses and fell and broke his arm. Once again, the neighbors came to tell him what bad luck he had had... and he told them only time would tell.
A month later, the government showed up recruiting all healthy young people to join the army. The son was saved because he had a cast on his arm...

In the end, the events that happen to us in life may seem pleasant or unpleasant or beneficial or bad luck at first. But in reality, only time will tell, and many times the perspective we take of these events with the light of new concepts helps us to re-understand our experiences and get much more out of them. An apparent tragedy seen from afar can be a great potential fortune.
Looking in perspective and with real attention to detail allows us to realize that situations are more complex than they appear at first glance. That there are many apparently simple scenarios that actually hide behind many hours of great complexity and that situations that seemed favorable are also punishments in disguise.

Try to practice contentment and be happy with the huge amount of things we already have (have you ever tried to list them?).
Maybe the neighbor's lawn is brighter today... And it's good that it is, I smile for him and because we have sensitive eyes to appreciate that light and also the one that is inside each one of us.
Thank you for having come this far, I wish you all a beautiful week❤️.

Being motivate instead of envy is great way to see "better weed" :)

When we forget to be grateful, we start to look at the good for other's properties. In fact, every person has good and also bad seasons in time, just enjoy life :

Thank you for sharing :)

😀 I agree 100% with what you say @anggreklestari. Many times I questioned things from the past but stopping judging myself and becoming grateful for what happened changed me completely.
😙 I send you lots of hugs, thanks for your words =)

Hello! This is the vibe I was feeling, when I created this week's prompt. You've went beyond the guess work, and actually put that brain to use! I'm not poking fun, dear soul. This is actually a wonderful post you've created. I see you also play music... That is another bonus, as I used to play drums, before being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, back in 2016. Anyway... good to meet you @faunobrujo ...
¡Hola! No me estoy burlando, querida alma.

Abrazos @faunobrujo!

Si, todo tranqui, nunca hubo drama 😆 Abrazos compañera!
