Kindness, that’s what people often see when you always give to them. They always think that they can make fun of your kindness especially when they are in need. There are also times also where they will just contact you because they knew that you cannot even say “NO”, there are also times where they are expecting from you too much because of being to kindness. It’s true that being good can help us to build ourselves to others, but it’s not always good as it is. When they say, “Kindness”, don’t take it for granted especially everyone have their own needs, not just you.
It’s the same when someone wants to borrow a money from you. Isn’t that funny to think that they only care because they will borrow something? Their statement will like, “Let’s contact this person, I know this person can’t say no.” And after you agreed to their want, they will disappear again. I know there are people who were like this but please, let’s change this mindset. What if that person came to you with sudden because something came up? You’ll just ignore them like ignoring someone you knew because you borrowed something? It’s the same thing when we tried to borrow and we ignored them. Our own action just came back to us, and sometimes it’s literally hit us hard. Why are we taking kindness for granted?
- Is it because we know that they can’t say no?
- Is it because that they can’t ignore us?
- Is it because that they don’t know on how to avoid us?
is it because, we are taking them for granted because we knew that they will just let us go easily?
See? There are so many reasons why we are taking someone for granted without thinking that they need it also. We become so selfish to the point where we are not thinking about the needs of others. We are so selfish to the point where we only cared about our needs, about our wants. But when we are talking about selfishness, why we can’t give support to the people who’s willing to help us? Why can’t we just say a small “thankyou” that was from our hearts? Why?
My point is, we can’t take kindness for granted just because they are good to us, the only thing that we can do, is to listen to them carefully when they are the one who needed help. Let’s help the people who also helped us during our ups and downs, let’s not ignore how they became good to us despite everything.
Maybe, sometimes we are thinking that everything was just easy as I mentioned.
We can be a good person everytime we want, we can be the bad one everytime we wanted.
But no matter how cruel the one person is, always think that being here in the world is the most precious thing that the God gave us. And those people, ae the one who God created to helped us when we are so down. So always spread love, don’t spread hate.
Before I was too kind that they see my kindness as a weakness. Maybe that is why I am what today because of those experiences. I was taken for granted in that sense.
Also, saying "no" is totally fine because that is how you feel.
Same sis, always ako natetake for granted kasi I can't say no talaga. Laging yesbyesbyes. Kaya ending masyadong naabuso talaga
I experience this a lot. Friends that will ignore you for long but suddenly say "hi" simply because they have a request. After granting them their request ,they dissappear again.
