That's a good point, I agree it's encouraging that trauma is getting talked about more and more, and with each generation, it's becoming more okay to say "okay my parents hurting me in X way doesn't make them bad people" (since I think that's what keeps a lot of us from acknowledging this hurt, you know?

There's so much to be happy about, so much that's positive.And just as legacy media's becoming more intense and oppressive, so we have more indie outlets. So maybe there's hope :) It is a race against time. I hope we make it.

That's totally right. I think the younger generation is starting to realize people (in most cases) do the best they know how, including those adults who raised them. That's quite an epiphany because it takes the "victim mentality" out of the equation and allows them to retain their power.

There's still more to be happy about than not, IMHO. I hope it stays that way and, yes, I hope we win that race! You're welcome. Thank you for this post!
