Recently someone told me that the whole yes but no and no no yes are apparently Canadian things. I realized that I used the first one more often but I am not sure if this habit got adopted here or prior to that.
I looked into it a bit more and there is a whole meme around it 😂. Still not too sure about its origins but I am wondering if you have heard anyone respond like that LOL
"Yes but no" is something I've heard. the "no no yes", well, that would be those who are unable to say no and stick to it. I'm not sure if they are Canadian things. I never even thought of it that way. It could be. There's a meme around it? That's too funny. I want to see the meme now, curious 🤣🤣🤣. I have heard people respond like that, yes, many times. 🤣🤣🤣
