Hello friends of the Thoughtful Daily Post community, I hope you are well today. Today I'm going to talk about my birthdays and what I'm so excited about and at the same time I don't date. I am definitely one of those people who loves when one of my loved ones has a birthday, I always think about how I could make their day more special, especially the birthdays of my parents and my brothers I remember them and I try to make them feel that it is an important and special day even if they do not feel it that way.

When my birthday approaches I get very excited especially since I was a little girl because my parents always made my birthday as much as possible a special day. I have memories through pictures of my childhood birthdays and I see how much effort and love my mom put into making the details and the birthday theme, they were always amazing and even though I am quite grown up now my mom still makes me aware of my birthdays in a special way.
When the day of my birthday arrives I feel an emotion and at the same time sadness for feeling that time is passing too fast, especially to see that my parents are getting older and my grandparents who are still alive every day is more noticeable that they are tired and look older. This fills me with nostalgia, I think of all the moments I have lived with my family and I feel that everything happened very fast so today I always take the opportunity to tell them that I love them because one does not know when they will no longer be there or I will not be alive, anything can happen and that's life.
One of my favorite birthdays was in my house where I used to live, there we gathered as a family and my paternal grandmother made me the birthday cake since she has always loved baking, the cake was very nice and it was with a beach style and my name on it, I loved that cake plus my mom also made pasapalos and the best colored jelly and the best quesillo in the world, not because she is my mom but they are always very good. That day I was very happy plus I was with the company of my godparents who are very special people who always remember my birthday despite the years and never miss their congratulation message and a collage image made by my godfather to congratulate me in a special way.
Today I enjoy every birthday as if it were my last, I try to make sure we have a cake and a soda to share with my mom and my siblings, I receive with great joy the call from my dad who lives far away and that makes me feel like I am a little girl again, it is a very emotional and special moment for me. I don't have other guests such as friends and other family members since everyone lives far away from my house, so I receive the day with an attitude of gratitude and love for being able to be healthy and share my day with my brothers and my mom.
I also enjoy waiting for my siblings' and my mom's birthdays to arrive, I always want to be the first one to congratulate them and sing their birthday, and I like to give them something that they like, whether it is part of the food or something that they can keep as a gift. I feel that I enjoy my birthday and also my family's birthday, it is a day that you only live once and that shows us all the way we have come and I feel that we should be thankful for being able to be present and together as a family.

Birthday can be fun with family and friends but then it reminds me that I'm getting older.
Yes, I get that too remembering that I'm getting older but it doesn't bother me rather it makes me sad to see my relatives getting older, but that's the cycle of life. Thanks for stopping by and reading my post, love 🤗
