" Ninety-nine percent of failure come from people who have the habit of making excuses."
- George Washington

Let's consider the parable Jesus told about God the father, because only him has the audacity to declear, "All things are now ready;" healing, restoration, favour, joy, goodness, promotion, etc. He is El-shaddai; I am that I am, the God that is more than enough, who will be whatever you want him to be to you. "All that you will ever need are now ready." The blessing you've always desired is ready; can't you see that? Whatever you are ready for in life is also ready for you. "He bade many." It's God's nature to always provide opportunity for all. Now is your own! "And they all with one consent began to make excuses."

Excuses remains the enemy of distinction. To consent to excuse is to become an enemy of your own destiny. Finding a reason why you can't be healed us the reason behind your oppression. Excuse is the mother of all failures. Become a crusader of " all things are possible." Failures are great inventors of excuses- the soil where mediocrity thrives.

We have two sets of people: those that make excuses, and those that make exploits. I agree with

"Unsuccessful people suffera mind-deadening disease called excusitis."
-David Schwartz

The man with excusitis discovers every conceivable reason why a course will fail.

Always remember the atmosphere of excuse is the domain of mediocrity. For every excuse you put up, there are thousands who rise in similar situations, perhaps even harsher than yours. The truth is

"Nothing will ever be attempted if all possible objections must first be overcome"
-Samuel Johnson.

Every successful person today has a genuine excuses why they should have failed, but they didn't take them, because they understand that genuine excuses bring genuine failures! Drop excuse, no reason is strong enough to tie you down. Excuse is the anchor that holds the ship of success at bay.

Let's consider this extraordinary woman Helen Keller, born blind and deaf, who had a flourishing business, was an accomplished author and a great thinker of all time! In her own words,

" I thank God for my handicaps, for through them, I found myself, my work and my God."

So stop using excuses as escape route from your responsibilities. Your conceived excuse is your bondage, and defines the boundaries of your accomplishment. They block the inflow of new ideas to you, and transfer your opportunities to others.

Excuses! Oh Excuses! The slayer of potential giants, you reduce potential billionaires to paupers, reduce saints to slaves. To switch from excuses to exploits, move from mere interest and commitment.

" There is a difference between interest and commitment. When you are interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient; when you are committed to something, you accept it with no excuses, only results".
-Kenneth Blanchard.

Do all you can with what you have, where you are, and do it now! Ten thousand excuses are not equal to one action.

Sort:

It is easier to for us to make excuses and shift blames rather than taking responsibilities for our actions 😅🤦🤦
Thanks for the write up,I am now challenged to see the light in every situation just like Helen Keller did here
