Sometimes when you close your eyes to sleep, you just wish you would never wake up anymore.
Sometimes you feel that the world has turned its back on you, and you feel lonely and empty.
Sometimes you just feel like you have done your best and you need rest. Sometimes when it gets so hard you just feel the need to give up.
Sometimes all you want to do is lock yourself up in a dark room and cry your eyes out. Most times you feel like are humans who they believe they are
Well what can I say, that's how life is. You see a lot of people going to and fro but what they carry in their minds is much heavier than themselves.
Most people are depressed, most people show their depression while some hide it with a smile just to deceive the world but they are really dying inside and need help urgently.
Most people can be so cruel tho I don't blame them cause that's how life is now.
We are in a corrupt world in the sense that no one can help anyone without asking for something in return even your very own blood.
This is bad and it breaks me a lot, it pains me to see that a person can't make his it her fellow person happy without asking for something in return. Well, I have my own story to share here that has been taunting me for a long time and I would also like to know if am at fault or if I did anything bad here.
Here goes my own story.
One of my dad's sisters, let's just say, my cousin. She's older than me tho.
She gave birth to a new baby, so her mom called my mom to help her look after her daughter since she was not available to do that. My mom did help her out and took care of the baby and mother as well. Till the mother's baby was okay to do things on her own.
So because of that, the woman that is my aunt was happy, and she tried to appreciate my mom for what she has done for her. So she told my mom that she would like to sponsor my schooling in the higher institution so my mom thanked her for that.
So as things were going smoothly the same daughter my mom went to look after came to meet my mom she was begging my mom to allow me to come to stay with her just to look after her kids while she was off to work, I didn't want to go at first but my mom insisted and I obliged.
When I got there this lady didn't go to any work firstly, secondly, what she would always do is leave all the house chores for me to do like am her house help or something.
I couldn't cope with the way she was treating me so I told my mom I won't be going back there again.
Everything went down until I went to chat my aunt up on WhatsApp just to tell her that have gotten a form she wanted to get for me.
The next reply I got from her was that she's surprised I need help from somebody when I can't help another person. That got me wondering that what means by that.
So I would like to know if I did anything bad or what do u think.

These are things that only you witnessed, therefore I don't think anyone can give you the reply you are looking for. You're the one who has to decide and learn to live with the decision you make. Sounds harsh but how can anyone give you any advice after reading a few lines? However, d what you think it's right and don't let people use you.

I'm so sorry dear. That response must have caused you hurt. The reality is that some people would never help except they are helped. And some other class of people derive pleasure in using other people for their selfish benefits with promises that they have no plan of fulfilling.
But trust me,there are still good people in the world who do good without expecting nothing in return.
