Today, while doing my house chores in the morning, I overheard the music of my neighbors. It was one of my favorites and I love the meaningful lyrics. So I listened and was humming with it.
"আমার এই পথ-চাওয়াতেই আনন্দ।
খেলে যায় রৌদ্র ছায়া, বর্ষা আসে বসন্ত ॥
কারা এই সমুখ দিয়ে আসে যায় খবর নিয়ে,
খুশি রই আপন মনে– বাতাস বহে সুমন্দ ॥"
It's a famous song by a Noble Literate Rabindra Nath Tagore. The music is about praising the time, and the wait rather than achieving something big. It's about appreciating the journey, staying positive, and waiting patiently for the result.
What a coincidence. This is what's going on behind my mind for the last couple of days. I'm continuously reminding myself not to lose hope this year but to wait patiently. If nothing happens and everything goes just like the past year, then it's okay. আমার এই পথ-চাওয়াতেই আনন্দ - My joys lies in this seeking, seeking this path.
Things don't always have to be about self-gain, right? There's always something big in this universe that we can focus on. There are so many things that can make us feel fulfilled. Yet we seek what only benefits us. And if I claim I'm not the one then it would be a lie.
We go through so many motivational and inspirational posts every day. But that never motivates me until I do something for myself. And maybe that happens to you too.
If 2024 was not the best year for you, then it's okay. If you have tried, then it's better. That's what I say to myself.
I'm making this path more joyful because I never know what's waiting for me or if ever could achieve my goals. But that's okay, I'm seeking, learning, and growing; that's what matters most for now.
If you are into any spiritual journey, reshaping your life then this might be for you. Know that, this path is what makes things much better. You are on the right path, seeing your growth, and seeking the right thing rather than making chaos and choosing selfish choices.
That's what matters the most.
Just like the lyrics of the song, the time is going on, the season is here, and it will go away soon, the sun will shine, and spring will come. If I hold myself from everything until I reach my destination then I will miss all of this.
Choosing my sanity over everything else may sound selfish but it's the best way for me to find happiness. I choose to be happy by myself, for what I have, and let the things happen how they are meant to be...

Beautiful song lyrics. I never heard of this one. Sometimes I listen to Rabindranath's music. I have many favourite songs. Among them "Amar Hiyar Majhe" is one of the most favorite. It's so relaxing.
