Relaxing activities
It's summer so a nice evening walk is best in July and August. Usually, I don't take off my shoes to walk through the sand but this time my daughter wanted to hunt for flat rocks so we can decorate them later. We saw some cool designs we want to try for ourselves. I have no clue if any of the paint is good for rock painting, but we'll just find out and see when we get to that activity.
The perfect rock
A few months ago at another beach and have not seen any suitable ones yet in this area but I admit I didn't really look for it either. As painting just one rock is not that fun, we had to hunt for more and so we did that evening. Below you can see a few rocks found by my daughter:
Prepping the rocks
Now we have prepped the rocks a few weeks ago when she was still going to summer school, but they are mostly covered in a rainbow sort of layer because there was paint left from another activity:
I hate wasting paint so usually I try to either use it for a canvas to prep or something else my daughter want's to paint. In this case the rocks and one small canvas:
We yet have to decide what we will create with these, hopefully, we get to do some painting this week as I could use some creative input myself, lol. If you have any tips or ideas, let me know in a comment below.
Thanks for reading!
Those painted rocks look mighty nice. Nature comes to my mind when I want to paint anything so it would very much be the night sky or the water or even yourselves in nature using stick figures. Hehe
The possibilities are endless. Hope you guys have lots of fun. Looking forward to it.🌺
Maybe these rainbow colors are nice as the sky indeed with some water or a palm tree maybe. Good idea thanks :)

@thisismylife...
There is indeed thoughtfulness... in nature. As well as the memories you are making with your daughter. Who is simply adorable, by the way. Makes me think of our grandkids. This may sound... silly? But have you considered finding a way to glue the rocks onto the canvas? Matching rock/canvas motif? Or like was suggested, a nature scene... then maybe match that to the rocks? Oh! The possibilities! No matter what you decide to do. I hope you decide to share it here... with our community. I would only ask that you share with us, what device you have used to take these beautiful photographs; ensuring you source your content. Helps others know you care about what you present, and of course... abides by the guidelines I have set. All out of respect, and love! I look forward to what you might share with us next!

It doesn't sound silly at all, I have seen multi media artworks quite often. And now that you mention it I remember one really cool painting with stones, they were not this type as I shared but others, it looked amazing. Need to google for inspiration, thanks for that!
Honestly, I only source everything when it's not my own picture, if you check my posts, I always mention if something is used from Canva (as I have pro, 99% of the time when I don't use my own pictures, it's from there).
When you invited me to join writing in the community, this was no different btw, so I never realized that you require this here. So many communities all different rules, it's hard to remember it all. One requires 2 or 3 pictures, the other just 1 and other rules. It's a bit dazzling to me sometimes.
Of course, I want to respect the community rules though so I'm making a mental note and hope I won't forget to mention it.
In this case, it was Huawei P30 Pro, as the pictures were taken by my old phone, while I now have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus.
Have a great day!

(no space) to get help on Hive. InfoShe is such a cute kid! Best not to waste, I agree. Using the leftover as a base is a great idea. Can't wait to see what she comes up with!
Those walks on the beach are so relaxing, I love to do the same whenever I get a chance. They lower stress and are good exercise. How are you holding up with the Tramadol?
Ah thanks, I was recently going through old folders and I had many "Awhh" moments :) amazing how quickly they grow up and change.
She was not in the painting flow yet, she's now doing kids yoga (also good if you ask me).
I have not been out for a few days partially because I was in a great flow of creating things and getting steps closer to finishing something. The past days I could focus a bit more so I really wanted to take advantage of that. I have the scan on Monday but the insurance has not authorized the scan yet, so I have to call them late, sigh. So annoying to deal with them.
Today I could not wake up as the kittens kept me awake the 2 hours before the alarm and I was grumpy as can be, I fell back asleep on the couch (oops) and by the time I woke up it was already 11 so that kind of sucks. Now I took the meds hours later than normal, meaning I have some pains until they start to work but at least I was productive the past hours.
I'm very curious about the scan results honestly, really hoping physical therapy can change a lot.

Sorry things are still a little rough. Monday is the big day for the MRI, hopefully nothing to serious to worry about and the physical therapy does the job. Those pills are always tough to get used to, any better today?
That's great that she does kid yoga, a good thing to get started young!
I've been catching up on things after a short vacation, I love the rest but you pay the piper when you get back.

Oh, I hope you had a good vacation! Did you go anywhere or just mostly relaxed? I will see if I can find any blogs on your end as I have not really checked much the past few days.
I honestly think this shitty bed is also causing (part) of the back pains because we rent an apartment with a bed that has storage under it, so you have to stand on the feet end and pull up the wooden board with the mattress to get under the bed if that makes sense. This wooden board is not what it was anymore as we roll towards the middle nowadays. I think during the night my back is also fighting against that.
Anyway Monday MRI, later in the week somewhere the X-ray, and the week after I see the traumatology doc. Just a little more wait until I hopefully have some answers.
