I can understand why we had to discontinued this series of rounds. But I've wondered why we didn't start a series on the Hive rounds.
So while I had other thoughts about it, I prepared steak for brunch. Good, huh? I was delicious and I was so full!
I went outside, and WOW! The skies were so blue, and full of cumulous clouds!
The rose had new flowers. I find it unusual that the flowers are not as pink as the previous blooms.
The tomatoes have been producing non-stop fruits.
While the rooster keeps watch!
Let's go back inside my home. Have I shown you my home yet?
I did not want to have lots of things in the house!
But I can't help it!
My orchids are upstairs, in my music room.
This Phalaenopsis is doing well!
So are these.
My other houseplants are thriving.
Which reminds me that I need to have an update on these houseplants. Don't you think I have a bit much? Anyway, this corner is in my upstairs family room, away from sight, lol!

Man, this post is full of all kinds of goodies. Whiskey, mugs, houseplants, orchids, A cool looking kitchen, beautiful home filled with lots of love. Looks just perfect to me! Not to mention the silver… We have to mention the Silver!!! I think your house looks pretty tidy. Not much clutter. We built our house that we are living in now about 14 years ago, and can you believe we still haven’t bought any living room or dining room furniture?! I don’t know what we’re waiting for. I guess we don’t utilize that area except for Christmas and we bring in tables and chairs. We basically live in the other half of our house with a family room and kitchen. Who knows someday maybe will get around to getting some furniture. I love your floors by the way. Or they would or are those tiles? I am thinking about doing porcelain tiles that look like wood in a couple of rooms… The dining room and living room LOL.
I wanted just one reclining chair in the living, I ended up with a whole section of seating space with two recliners on each end. The shelves are recent, and now I have to buy another smaller shelves in the dining area because I keep buying plants, ARRGH!!! Make me stop!!!! I hoped to contain everything upstairs, but no!!!
My second floor is a lot bigger, as it is over the garage and the entire footprint of the income property.
Oh my goodness! The brunch looks delicious!!! I love asparagus for breakfast and brunch!

What a delightful post! Happy #beautifulsunday, #sublimesunday, my friend! I guess it is human nature to wonder what a person's house looks like, I think many times it is telling of the kind of person they are.
I noticed that you have the rubber mats in the kitchen, my girls love them, they save their feet when standing over the stove or putting a recipe together. Your house is not quite minimalist, it has love spread all around. I love the little pieces of you here and there. The mug rack! I love it and it reminds me of my mother's house! She had one and everyone had their special mug they liked hanging on there. Plants all over, so lovely. You have such a clean style. I like it! Warm and inviting, I could be very comfortable there. :)
The roses. Sadly, this is not unusual for roses to "change color. Changes, however minor often occur when cooler weather comes to the pink/red shades, but, hot weather fades the colors. Also, as many roses are grafted and the branches are one variety, hence the change. It happens to me on flowers that are hybrids also. I buy a beautiful, unusually colored flower and when it comes back the next year, it is plain yellow or another color. :)) I used to think it wasn't the same flower.
Anyway, this is about the silver!!! You know I love it! I got a few more rounds, but, they are plain jane. But, you know I love them!!

I love the rubber mats, purchased from Costco. They are padded and are really soft!!! I spend so much time in the kitchen.
The mug rack holds all the mugs which my friends gave me through the years... they end up using the mug they gave me when they drink tea or coffee. This was how it looked before and now it is over-ran by plants, arrrgh!
Yes, I can see that the new blooms are pinker ... I am liking the different shades!
I love all types of silver, but end up buying only the one that makes sense to me. It's really neat!

I went out early this morning and watered the plants in the pots on my deck so that they have a chance of surviving the excessive heat that we are getting today.
