This is a dog tag keychain I won it in a contest sponsored by @TheSoCalHive!
The image below shows one of the other broken zipper pullers.
This is a used backpack. It’s probably 10 years older or more. Pretty cool for free. The rubber grip on the zipper pulls has deteriorated. Also, I have exceptionally high expectations for zipper durability on brand-name products like this. I know someone paid a lot of money for this backpack. Just because it’s fashionable and expensive doesn’t mean the quality has to be garbage. Designer jeans are a good example. Some of those ultra expensive designer jeans, actually fit and function well. They add “bells and whistles” that make a difference sometimes.
One time I took some designer jeans in for repairs. The cashier said, “wouldn’t you rather buy some new ones?” I looked at him with my best crooked eye. Then I looked at the seamstress who would be doing the repairs. She had a nice smile and then looked at him and rolled her eyes. Yeah they want the money, but she also knows that there’s some details worth saving.
That's awesome! Glad it came in handy!
It’s the best.
Feels great to my steel string ravaged finger-skin and 200 year old, coffee-inflamed knuckle joints. ❤️🔥
Seriously, I feel like I save extra six movements while rummaging to find the zipper. I hate difficult zippers. When will AI make zippers, door knobs, and dishes easier? 😵💫
