¿Pero cómo es eso posible?, pues muy fácil, a través de una guía para los que como yo (y bueno, los no que sean como yo también pueden sumar sus conocimientos en los comentarios de esta publicación), aún no somos VTubrers, pero que admiramos este mundo, su singularidad y potencial…
Así que, inspirándome en el personaje de mi amigo místico, hoy te estaré mostrando los ingredientes y “algo más” que hacen único a un VTuber (aunque te adelanto que aquí no verás azúcar, flores ni muchos colores).
Pero primero, lo primero (obvio)… ¿Qué es un VTuber?
Una persona que es representada por un personaje virtual creado o comprado por este (sip, también existen profesionales que se especializan en realizar estos avatares a la medida del que lo pida), con el objetivo de crear y compartir contenido (grabaciones o en vivos) a una comunidad específica (más allá de monetizar con este). Sin embargo, para poder crear esa comunidad fiel que ame su contenido, necesita de ciertos ingredientes:

Un alma creativa: porque desde la visualización de cómo desea que sea su avatar, la forma de redactar y comunicar su historia, la elaboración de su contenido hasta esa experiencia que necesita poder transmitir un mensaje “con su esencia” le exige esa chispa de creatividad. Por lo que la palabra “miedo” no debería de estar en su mente (o al menos no para este rol), ya que siempre necesitará estar dispuesto a explorar nuevas ideas, guiones/narrativas, formatos y por supuesto siempre ofrecer algo único, algo que sume a su audiencia (la razón por la cual esta lo ve y está allí para él).

Aunque sea un personaje virtual, es muy importante que ambas se puedan reflejar a través de la pantalla (ya que cuando esto no sucede obviamente se ve y se siente esa falta de autenticidad). Por lo que ambas son vitales para que su audiencia pueda conectar con él de una forma genuina y cautivadora (esto es algo que podrás ver siempre en todos los VTubers exitosos, porque nunca dejan de mostrar su vulnerabilidad y compartir sus experiencias personales “a su manera”).

¡Y en grandes cantidades please! Esto es muy importante para mantenerse relevante… ya sea en el mundo gaming, en colaboraciones, lives u otras actuaciones. La capacidad de poder mantener a su audiencia enganchada a su mensaje es crucial (así como también saber comprender qué es lo que realmente desean ver o escuchar para que su contenido siempre esté alineado a esos deseos).
Y por supuesto que más allá de ingredientes, también le hacen falta cualidades:
Otra gran VTuber, Nimu, con casi tres millones de subscriptores entre sus dos canales de YouTube, sin embargo, actualmente este canal está inactivo (por lo que, al igual que a las demás que aquí te muestro, la puedes encontrar en TWITCH), pero te coloco este video de ella para que puedas verla.
Ser constante y paciente: ambas son claves para superar cualquier desafío, construir una comunidad fiel y que al mismo tiempo se mantenga a lo largo del tiempo en crecimiento.
Poder moldearse y adaptarse a la dinámica de ser VTuber: debido a que el mundo del entretenimiento siempre está en constante cambio, es muy importante que pueda desarrollar una mentalidad flexible ante las nuevas tendencias, plataformas y por supuesto, tecnologías (algo que, a su vez, le permitirá mantener para su comunidad un contenido fresco e interesante).
Saber decir las cosas (obvio, pero difícil al mismo tiempo): porque no es lo que se dice, sino cómo se dice. Y es aquí donde poder comunicarse de forma efectiva al interactuar con sus seguidores en un live o colaborando con otros colegas VTubers, le permitirá construir y mantener relaciones sin o con muy pocos malos entendidos (porque ya sabes que siempre hay alguien que se ofende de la nada, pero eso es otro tema jaja).

Sin olvidarnos de esos conocimientos técnicos que son indispensables (y que, si no se poseen, se tienen dos opciones… aprender o pagar jeje):
Al ser un avatar digital, debe tener un diseño personalizado, que si la persona lo desea puede llegar a estar animado (para hacerlo aún más atractivo). Por lo que conocimientos básicos de diseño gráfico, modelado 3D y animación le permitirán crear ese personaje “ideal” que, en parte, ayudará a captar la atención de su audiencia.
Poder editar sus propios videos y audios: porque ambos son esenciales para ofrecer esa experiencia que diferencia a un VTuber de otro… Ese contenido que, más allá de verse y escucharse bien, ayudan a que sea de calidad.
Conocer las plataformas donde está su audiencia y sus respectivos algoritmos: solo si no desea perder el tiempo al crear un contenido donde no esté su audiencia, maximizar tu alcance/visibilidad del mismo y saber cuándo y cómo publicarlo (y aquí también entra todo el tema de marketing digital, copywrting y estrategias personalizadas para la audiencia de cada VTuber)…

Cada uno de estos ingredientes, cualidades y “algo más”, juegan un papel crucial en la creación de un avatar que no solo entretiene, sino que también deja una huella en el corazón de su comunidad.
Así que, si llegaste hasta aquí y como yo no eres un VTuber, pero deseas sumarte a este mundo, ya conoces todo lo que vamos a necesitar para serlo…
Pero no nos asustemos (y sí me incluyo jaja), porque la clave está siempre en ser auténtico, perseverante, tener disposición de aprender y adaptarte.

Not to mention those technical skills that are indispensable (and that, if you don't have them, you have two options... learn or pay hehe):
Being a digital avatar, it must have a custom design, which if the person wishes can become animated (to make it even more attractive). So basic knowledge of graphic design, 3D modeling and animation will allow you to create that "ideal" character that, in part, will help to capture the attention of your audience.
Being able to edit your own videos and audios: because both are essential to offer that experience that differentiates one VTuber from another... That content that, beyond looking and sounding good, helps to make it quality.
