I was introduced into this platform by a content creator. Before then I never knew there was anything called Hive. My friend said "Jerry, I know you to be a very good and passionate writer. Now I have something for you…..” and I said out of curiosity what’s that bro?
He said there’s a platform where I could be noticed for my talent. In here in Hive as he called it, passionate readers from different part of the world would take out of their time to read my articles and he encouraged me further that I may even get rewarded and connected.
Quickly I went to do a little research on Hive and I found great and pleasing information that were all true, reviews were positive and I wondered where this platform had been all this while….I still feel that there are easy and great privileges on the internet that some people have not yet discovered, just like Hive. As a Nigerian and a native of Delta state, my blood runs wild with hustle and I crave and use every good opportunity presented and make the best use of it. I learn not to give up on something that I believe will actualise even if the starting may be very slow.
I learnt the art of patience from the way I was brought up at home. Having only two female siblings made me a soft and caring brother. I learnt to take life easy. While in university, left on my own, in a world of my own was life itself to the fullest. In there were opportunities to lift you up or to bring you down. All depends on what you want for yourself. Many think only for themselves there because of the ecstasy of freedom. As for me a Christian from a disciplined home, I have always thought about where I come from, my poor parents, beautiful sisters depending on me, my loyal followers that I will lead someday, my career and future, my wife and unborn children and their future, then above all God’s thought.
All through my twenty nine years of age, I have always had deep respects and unfailing consideration for God my creator. He has been my guardian, protector, advisor and provider. He always gives me a sense of responsibility and occupies my mind so I don’t lead myself astray. So I came out as a graduate in biology education.
Even though I work nine to ten hour shift in a hotel, I will still create time to meet with my good people here in Hive community. I will frequently voice my thoughts through inspirational articles which are of great information and healing to the mind. I see worries in the faces of a lot of people everyday but majority of them only need few words of encouragement just to be fine. That is my aim in this platform. It’s not just dropping long words all the time, it’s about the lives that get touched positively when your article is read.
