RE: Do Europeans eat dog meat too?

in HISTORY • 5 months ago

😂 I have never heard or seen that anybody in Switzerland consumes cats or dogs. Until the late 19th century Switzerland was a very poor country (landlocked, backward, difficult terrain, little transport possibilities, thousands of dialects). So I can imagine that - facing famine - people here had no problem with eating cats or dogs.

I wonder if you felt uncomfortable reading my awkward English sentences!😂Guten tag, Dear @zuerich !

You can read that German, since you know German well. I understand that in the Swiss countryside, people have been raising and eating dogs and cats for centuries!

I am in favor of the Swiss habit of eating dogs and cats as food!😄
Dogs and cats are animals that humans can eat, like cows, horses, pigs, sheep, and goats!

I find it rude of the British, French and Germans to ridicule the Swiss custom of eating dogs and cats!😅

I believe that Swiss people have the freedom to eat dogs and cats freely.

Danke!

If there are any errors in my article, I would appreciate it if you could point them out!
