AT THE END OF THE YEAR

It was the end of December. Not exactly the last day but the end was near. The end of the month. The end of the year. The end of quite a few things and the beginning of many others.

The year was 2006. It won't be for long but when I took the photographs presented in today's post, it still was.
I used to walk by the sea very often in those days.
I felt good. I felt free. My life wasn't contaminated with social media crap. I was invisible, I was well-balanced and relatively sane.

I'm different now but the stretch of coastline shown in these shots looks the same.

Walking by the sea is still a very good exercise, especially to clear one's mind and to put things in their right perspectives. It has helped me severally, when dealing with mind boggling issues and you can get right back to it if you want.
Social media crap.... Hehehe, I call it the devil's pound of flesh. Or how do you explain one's addiction or near-addiction to it? It exacts from us our quality time and I don't really know how to break out of it though it's one of my New Year's resolution 😊
But dude, if you can get back to walking by the Sea, the better.
