Hi to all members of the Hive community.
My name is Ambar, but many of my friends call me Am, I’m 22 years old and all my life I've lived in Caracas, Venezuela. Currently, I'm studying Economics at the Universidad Católica Andres Bello, at its Montalbán campus, and I’m starting a Public Accounting degree at the Universidad Nacional Abierta.
Voy a contarles un poco acerca de mi infancia, soy la menor de dos hermanos, mi hermano mayor es 15 años mayor que yo. Estando pequeña, siempre pasaba mucho tiempo con mi hermano y muchas veces era él quien me buscaba al colegio, se quedaba conmigo cuidándome, me llevaba con mi mamá o a donde estuviera mi papá y muchas otras cosas. Mi mamá es docente graduada en Castellano y Literatura del Instituto Pedagógico de Caracas, desde que se graduó trabajaba en una escuela y para cuando yo nací era Subdirectora de una escuela, mi papá es Técnico Electricista y desde muchos años antes de que yo naciera trabaja por su cuenta, por esta razón, en época colegial pasaba mucho tiempo con mi hermano o con mi nana y las vacaciones siempre las pasaba con la familia de mi mamá. Por cierto, mi hermano y yo somos los únicos nietos y sobrinos de mi familia materna.
I’m going to tell you a little bit about my childhood, I’m the younger of two siblings, my older brother is 15 years older. When I was little, I always spent a lot of time with my brother and many times he was the one who picked me up from school, he stayed with me taking care of me, he took me to my mom or to where my dad was and many other things. My mom is a teacher graduated in Castellano y Literatura from the Instituto Pedagogico de Caracas, since she graduated, she worked in a school and by the time I was born she was Assistant Director of a school, my dad is an Electrician Technician and for many years before I was born he worked on his own, for this reason, in school time he spent a lot of time with my brother or with my nanny and on vacations were always spent with my mom's family. By the way, my brother and I are the only grandchildren and nieces and nephews of my mother's family.
Acerca de mis aficiones, siempre me ha gustado aprender cosas nuevas, y creo que esa fue la razón por la que no curse el primer grado de primaria porque cuando llegue ya sabía leer y escribir así que la profesora junto a mi mamá decidió pasarme a segundo grado, estando allí comencé a recibir clases de música y rápidamente aprendí algo de lenguaje musical y a tocar flauta dulce, durante ese tiempo también estuve aproximadamente 1 año en Danza Árabe. Un tiempo después, entrando en mi etapa de secundaria, comencé el Sistema Nacional de Orquestas y Coros Juveniles e Infantiles de Venezuela (FESNOJIV), allí mejoré mi lenguaje musical, aprendí a tocar Flauta Transversa y estuve aproximadamente 6 o 7 años en diversos coros Infantiles y Juveniles de El Sistema. Otra afición, que está presente desde mi niñez y aun conservo, es el gusto por la cocina, me gusta aprender recetas nuevas, sobre todo si se trata de aprender a cocinar platos fuertes, y también se me da muy bien hornear galletas e incluso panes.
About my hobbies, I’ve always liked to learn new things, and I think that was the reason why I didn’t attend the first grade of elementary school because when I arrived I already knew how to read and write so the teacher together with my mom decided to move to second grade, just at that time I started to receive music lessons and quickly learned some musical language and to play Recorder, during that time I also spent about 1 year in Arabic Dance. Sometime later, entering my high school stage, I started the Sistema Nacional de Orquestas y Coros Juveniles e Infantiles de Venezuela (FESNOJIV), there I improved my musical language, I learned to play transverse flute and I was approximately 6 or 7 years in several children's and youth choirs of El Sistema. Another hobby, which is present since my childhood and I still keep, is the taste for cooking, I like to learn new recipes, especially if it's about learning to cook main dishes, and I’m also very good at baking cookies and even breads.
Otra de mis aficiones es escribir, desde que tengo 14 años comencé a tomarle el gusto a la lectura y junto a esto fui desarrollando la habilidad para escribir, de hecho, en algún momento llegué a subir post a la red social Tumblr y comencé a escribir una novela, en la famosa aplicación de lectura Wattpad, en la misma aplicación conocí de manera virtual a muchas personas, no solo en Venezuela también fuera del país; y creo que esta cercanía con esta aplicación y sus distintas utilidades fueron las que me llevaron a interesarme por las redes sociales, me gusta mucho descubrir nuevas redes sociales, aprender cómo funcionan, como podemos usarlas para nuestro beneficio, para monetizar, aunque esto aún no lo haga porque soy bastante tímida, y también para conocer personas. De hecho, a través de las redes sociales fue que conocí a @nathrosr fue ella quien me comento de Hive, y lo que hacía en la plataforma, y también fue quien me invito a formar parte de las clases de “Hive desde Cero” dictadas por @soy-laloreto. Estando en el grupo me di cuenta de que mi primo @jackdeathblack usaba la plataforma, le escribí para pedirle referencias acerca de la plataforma y me gusto lo que me comento; y esa es la razón por la que me animé y escribí esta pequeña presentación para ustedes.
Another of my hobbies is writing, since I’m 14 years old I began to take a taste for reading and along with this I was developing the ability to write, in fact, at some point I got to upload post to the social network Tumblr and started writing a novel, in the famous reading application Wattpad, in the same application I met virtually many people, not only in Venezuela but also outside the country, and I think that this closeness with this application and its several utilities were what led me to become interested in social networks, I really like to discover new social networks, learn how they work, how we can use them for our benefit, to monetize, although I still don't do this because I'm quite shy, and also to meet people. In fact, it was through social networks that I met @nathrosr, she was the one who told me about Hive, and what I was doing on the platform, and she was also the one who invited me to be part of the "Hive from Zero" classes taught by @soy-laloreto. Being in the group I realized that my cousin @jackdeathblack was using the platform, I wrote him to ask for references about the platform and I liked what he told me; and that is the reason why I decided to write this little presentation for you.
A través de esta plataforma espero poder compartir con ustedes muchas experiencias, puntos de vista acerca de distintos temas, recetas y muchas otras cosas. Estoy agradecida por todo lo que he aprendido en las clases de “Hive desde Cero” y deseo no solo escribir y que ustedes puedan pasar un rato agradable leyéndome, sino que también puedan llevarse siempre un aprendizaje y conocer muchas personas que también puedan dejarme algún aprendizaje.
Through this platform I hope to be able to share with you many experiences, points of view about different topics, recipes and many other things. I’m grateful for everything I’ve learned in the classes of "Hive desde Cero" and I wish not only to write and that you can have a good time reading me, but also that you can always take away a learning experience and meet many people who can also leave me some learning.

Hola Ambar, bienvenida a la comunidad de comunidades, curiosamente soy Contador Público y me llama la atención estudiar Economía, para mí son carreras compatibles, algo que una jefa me dijo que es al contrario, pero no le presté atención, saludos y estoy seguro que tienes mucho que compartir aquí. Saludos.
Hola, Economía es una carrera muy difícil, si tienen ciertas cosas en común al final sigue siendo una ciencia, quizás no tan enfocada en los números, pero si son muy similares. Siendo estudiante de 5to semestre de Economía y 1er semestre de Contaduría, creo que puedo decir que ambas necesitan de sí; tanto así que con mi pensum actual de Economía, puedo hacer equivalencia de aproximadamente 8 materias o más.
