Hello everybody! I'm Edgarys saballo, I'm Venezuelan, resident in Venezuela. I am 17 years old, I was born on April 30, 2004. I'm from Maracaibo edo Zulia, but when I was 3 months old my paternal grandmother decided to bring me together with my mother to where I currently live, Maturin edo Monagas.
Mi papá murió un mes antes que yo naciera en un accidente de tránsito, así que nunca pude conocerlo. él además de ser petrolero, también era músico, tenía una banda con su grupo de amigos.
My dad died a month before I was born in a traffic accident, so I never got to meet him. He was not only an oilman, he was also a musician, he had a band with his group of friends.
Cada jueves iban a un club llamado campo norte en el tigre, edo Anzoátegui, dónde allí conoció a mi mamá. De hecho, el fué el que enseñó a mi mamá a cantar y la preparo para competencias y las noches de karaoke a las cuales asistían.
Every Thursday they went to a club called campo norte in el tigre, edo Anzoátegui, where he met my mom. In fact, he was the one who taught my mom to sing and prepared her for the competitions and karaoke nights they attended.
La pasión por la música que tenían ambos, era una de las tantas cosas que los unia y a pesar de que nunca pude conocerlo, mi mamá se encargó de sembrar en mí la música, como una semillita, la cuál fué regando poco a poco.
The passion for music that they both had was one of the many things that united them and even though I never got to meet him, my mother took care of planting music in me, like a little seed, which she watered little by little.
Desde muy pequeña me gustaba mucho todo lo que tuviera que ver con la música, aunque siempre fuí muy tímida, así que a pesar de ser una niña bastante apasionada por ello, nunca me atreví a meterme en algún evento escolar o algo así, por pánico escénico.
Después de que mi mamá me insistiera (mucho realmente), en 6to grado decidí inscribirme en el coro de mi escuela, en el cuál participé en varios encendidos navideños como solista cantando gaitas y villancicos.
Apartir de allí, empecé a tener un poco menos de pena y cuando entré a 1er año de bachillerato inmediatamente me inscribí en el grupo estable de Música.
Mi profesor de música vió en mí un potencial y me ayudó mucho a trabajar en mi voz y en mi pánico escénico, para así irlo superando de a poco. Comencé a cantar en los cierres de proyectos y fué allí, dónde entendí que Cantar era lo mío.
Since I was very little I liked everything that had to do with music, although I was always very shy, so despite being a very passionate child for it, I never dared to get into any school event or something like that, because of stage fright.
After my mom insisted me (a lot actually), in 6th grade I decided to join my school choir, in which I participated in several Christmas lights as a soloist singing bagpipes and carols.
From then on, I started to feel a little less embarrassed and when I entered the 1st year of high school I immediately enrolled in the Music stable group.
My music teacher saw potential in me and helped me a lot to work on my voice and my stage fright, so that I could overcome it little by little. I started singing in the closing of projects and it was there, where I understood that singing was my thing.
Desde ese momento empecé a enamorarme del canto y de la música en general, buscando así la forma de seguir mejorando vocalmente. Hace aproximadamente 5 años, ingresé al coro de una iglesia y simultáneamente a un curso de canto y guitarra.
From that moment on, I began to fall in love with singing and music in general, looking for ways to continue improving vocally. About 5 years ago, I joined a church choir and simultaneously took a singing and guitar course.
Siempre para mí fué un sueño aprender a tocar dicho instrumento, y un tío me regaló una guitarra, la cuál decía que era única como yo, porque era de color negro y muy poco se veían para ese tiempo. La tuve un año guardada ya que no sabía cómo tocarla, hasta que me inscribí en curso.
It was always a dream for me to learn to play this instrument, and an uncle gave me a guitar, which he said was unique like me, because it was black and very few were seen at that time. I kept it for a year because I didn't know how to play it, until I enrolled in a course.
En ese curso aprendí muchísimas cosas y sobretodo mucho más acerca de mi voz y como manejarla. Mi profesor siempre me enseñó a ser muy versátil a la hora de cantar, pero, generalmente siempre canto balada o pop.
Cuando llegó la pandemia, me puse un poco más creativa y empecé a buscar tutoriales de maquillaje, para aprender y poco a poco fuí practicando, para aprender a maquillarme, ya que, realmente no sabía nada de ese mundo, descubriendo un talento oculto, o así lo considero yo jajaja.
In that course I learned a lot of things and above all a lot more about my voice and how to manage it. My teacher always taught me to be very versatile when it came to singing, but, generally, I always sing ballads or pop.
When the pandemic came, I got a little more creative and started to look for makeup tutorials, to learn and little by little I was practicing, to learn how to do my makeup, since I really didn't know anything about that world, discovering a hidden talent, or so I consider it hahaha.
En mi liceo tenía unos amigos que improvisaban y un día los ayudé a escribir una canción y en ese momento empezó a llamarme la atención mucho el mundo de la composición de canciones pero nunca me propuse escribir algo.
At my high school I had some friends who improvised and one day I helped them write a song and at that moment I began to be very interested in the world of songwriting, but I never set out to write something.
El año pasado, en base a mis experiencias tomé inspiración y comencé a escribir, teniendo así hasta ahora unas 6 o 7 canciones que en algún momento espero sacar a la luz.
Hace aproximadamente unos 5 o 6 meses decidí cambiar de ambiente, ya que, ya estaba aburrida de lo mismo, así que decidí inscribirme en una academia de salsa casino y bachata llamada Swing Latino, algo lo cuál era totalmente desconocido para mí, ya que, nunca creí llegar a bailar en una academia o algo así. Gracias a eso he ido conociendo a una cantidad de personas increíbles que me han ayudado a formarme como bailarina y me han brindado su apoyo, su cariño y su amistad.
Last year, based on my experiences I took inspiration and began to write, having so far about 6 or 7 songs that I hope to bring to light at some point.
About 5 or 6 months ago I decided to change the environment, since I was bored of the same, so I decided to enroll in an academy of salsa casino and bachata, something which was totally unknown to me, since I never thought I would get to dance in an academy or something like that. Thanks to that I have met a lot of incredible people who have helped me to form me as a dancer and have given me their support, love and friendship.
Hasta ahora mi enfoque es trabajar poco a poco para convertirme en una artista completa, quisiera en algún punto estudiar música de una forma más profesional, también hacer algunos cursos de locución, oratoria y así para formarme un poco más.
Por ahora estoy un poco más enfocada en los ámbitos de mi vida recreativos pero con el pensamiento de en algún momento comenzar una carrera universitaria, ya que, siempre he querido estudiar psicología.
Estoy muy ansiosa por emprender en esta nueva plataforma, que la verdad me parece súper genial, espero poder contar con su apoyo y pues, esta fué una parte de lo que va de mi vida, espero les haya gustado.

So far my focus is to work little by little to become a complete artist, I would like at some point to study music in a more professional way, also do some courses in speech, public speaking and so on to form me a little more.
For now I am a little more focused on the recreational areas of my life but with the thought of at some point starting a university career, since I have always wanted to study psychology.
I am very anxious to undertake this new platform, which I really think is super cool, I hope I can count on your support and well, this was a part of what is going on in my life, I hope you liked it.

I don't have patience to follow directions. But I make and have made some sick jams. I mess around with the bass, guitar, harmonica, piano, shake egg. I am trying to get a set of bongos from my Aunt but I don't think that will ever happen. When you were talking about controlling your voice, I just about spit out my beer. Ya see Edgarys, when I play I am HOLDONG MY BREATH the who time. I have no idea why I do it, or the fact that I am even doing it until I am about to pass out!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA.
