Me desconecte por completo el fin de semana, llevaba meses haciendo planes con una persona muy especial para mi que volvio al país el viernes pasado, rodar en motocicleta todas las tardes y buscar sitios donde comer y beber algo juntos... Yo no podría imaginar un mejor plan, soy alguien muy simple la verdad, el ir a una discoteca o fiesta no es algo que escogería sobre el plan de comer unas hamburguesitas con alguien especial.
I completely disconnected for the weekend, I had been making plans for months with a very special person for me who came back to the country last Friday, riding motorcycles every afternoon and looking for places to eat and drink together.... I couldn't imagine a better plan, I'm a very simple person, going to a disco or party is not something I would choose over eating hamburgers with someone special. |

No tengo otro motivo que justifique mi ausencia, tenia planeado dedicar todo mi tiempo de este fin de semana a pasarla bien y olvidar las preocupaciones y gastos al menos por esos días, basicamente cumplí con ello, no me arrepiento, al menos no por ahora 😂, luego de que su familia le hiciera bienvenida tuve la suerte de poder buscarla en la tarde, y estar juntos desde el viernes, lo cual fue perfecto pues por algún motivo volvieron a empezar las fallas de energía electrica ese día, nadie quiere estar en casa así.

Fuimos a un sitio muy conocido en mi ciudad donde preparan las mejores pizzas que he comido en mi vida, allí nos reecontramos de nuevo después de unos 5 años, jamás imagine que las cosas nos saldrían tan genial después de estos meses hablando, claro, lo unico que cambiaría seria el clima, ya saben, las noches lluviosas y las motocicletas no son precisamente seguras, así que fue algo complicado volver a casa pero lo logramos 😂.
We went to a well known place in my city where they prepare the best pizzas I've ever eaten in my life, there we met again after about 5 years, I never imagined that things would be so great after these months talking, of course, the only thing that would change would be the weather, you know, rainy nights and motorcycles are not exactly safe, so it was a little complicated to go back home but we made it 😂. |

También hicimos una visita a un sitio donde venden comida arabe el cual conocí gracias a mis buenos amigos de la universidad, aunque ya estabamos repletos y solo tomamos algunas cervezas, el lugar se ha vuelto de mis favoritos, cuando pienso en salir a hablar o pasar un rato con amigos trato de que sea allí: Buenos precios, no hay mucho ruido, buena música y el servicio es excelente. Total que allí estuvimos hasta las 11 pm de la noche, normalmente no salgo a esas horas pues vivo lejos de casa pero ambos vivimos cerca, entonces subir con compañia es totalmente diferente.
We also made a visit to a place where they sell Arabic food which I met thanks to my good friends from college, although we were already full and we only had a few beers, the place has become one of my favorites, when I think of going out to talk or hang out with friends I try to make it there: good prices, not much noise, good music and the service is excellent. So we were there until 11 pm at night, normally I don't go out at that time because I live far from home but we both live nearby, so going up with company is totally different. |

El sábado salimos a buscar algunas cosas para el mishi Aquiles, el cual les he mostrado en mis ultimas publicaciones, necesitaba un arenero y luego de recorrer la ciudad buscando el recipiente de plastico perfecto (lo logramos por cierto) fuimos a comer un helado en el Sambil de San Cristobal, fue un plan mucho más simple, el clima estuvo un poco mejor, al menos no regresamos empapados ese sábado.
On Saturday we went out to get some things for mishi Aquiles, which I have shown you in my last posts, he needed a sandbox and after walking around the city looking for the perfect plastic container (we made it by the way) we went to eat an ice cream at the Sambil in San Cristobal, it was a much simpler plan, the weather was a little better, at least we didn't come back soaked that Saturday. |

Algo de lo que hablabamos mucho es de como me afectan algunos domingos, a veces manejar el tema de la ansiedad es complicado, creo que estaremos de acuerdo que domingo es el día más complejo, se pueden convertir en tardes infinitas donde te aterra que tu mente tome el control, por lo general me gusta estar ocupado con lo que sea, no importa si es solo hablar. Para finalizar este plan de bienvenida volvimos a escapar el domingo al centro de la ciudad a comer hamburguesas gigantes en otro de mis lugares favoritos, realmente me lo he pasado muy bien, que ella este aquí ha hecho que organice mis ideas de nuevo.
Something we talked a lot about is how some Sundays affect me, sometimes handling the anxiety issue is complicated, I think we will agree that Sunday is the most complex day, they can turn into endless afternoons where you are terrified that your mind will take control, usually I like to be busy with whatever, no matter if it's just talking. To finish this welcome plan we escaped again on Sunday to downtown to eat giant hamburgers in another of my favorite places, I really had a great time, her being here has made me organize my ideas again. |

Se nota que disfrutaste mucho esas salidas, que bonito y la compañia casi siempre es lo más importante, te disfrutas el escape y la persona que te acompaña complementa la experiencia, algunas veces lo necesitamos, tenemos que escapar de la rutina y hacer algo diferente.
