Hola, me llamo Antonio De La Rosa Mendoza, nací en un pequeño rincón del oriente de Venezuela llamado Cumaná, Estado Sucre, el cual lleva ese nombre por el Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Antonio José de Sucre, que por cierto soy descendiente de él.
Mis padres fueron Antonio María De La Rosa Silva y Ysabel Georgina Mendoza Román, ambos profesores, los cuales se encargaron de darme una buena educación desde el nacimiento!
Tengo dos hermanos mayores por parte de mi padre, Francisco José De La Rosa y María Antonia De La Rosa, hermanos con los cuales no pude crecer y veo poco, pero que esto no les haga pensar que no los amo! Son gran ejemplo para mí!
Hello, my name is Antonio De La Rosa Mendoza, I was born in a small corner of eastern Venezuela called Cumaná, Sucre State, named after the Great Marshal of Ayacucho Antonio José de Sucre, who by the way I am a descendant of. My parents were Antonio María De La Rosa Silva and Ysabel Georgina Mendoza Román, both teachers, who were in charge of giving me good education from birth! I have two older siblings on my father's side, Francisco José De La Rosa and María Antonia De La Rosa, siblings with whom I couldn't grow up and see very little, but don't let this make you think that I don't love them! They are a great example for me!
Desde niño me interese por muchas cosas, BMX, Buceo de estilo libre (freedive), sobre todo por la música, la cual desde los 9 años comencé a aprender, toco algunos instrumentos, jamás fui a clases musicales, aprendí de ese modo que llaman empírico, gracias a Dios y el universo tuve un tío que me enseñó un poco y continúe aprendiendo por mi cuenta.
No obstante entre se me pasaba el tiempo y crecía, me daba cuenta que mi padre tomaba siempre muchas fotografías, y descubrí que era "Fotógrafo" lo cual me interesó bastante, recuerdo pedirle muy pequeño su cámara y decirle "Quiero que me enseñes a tomar fotos" a lo cual me respondió PERFECTO!
Recuerdo claramente que se sentó y me hizo mirar por el visor de aquella cámara sencilla vieja y de rollos (absolutamente nada tecnológica) y decirme muy calmadamente, "Ponme en el centro y aprietas el botón que está arriba..." Desde ese primer click, quedé enamorado de la fotografía, fotografía que aproximadamente 1 una semana después de haber Sido revelada pude observar y la verdad quedó muy bien. Gracias a mi padre a muy corta edad tuve un curso fotográfico el cual ni imaginaba me serviría para mis futuros pasos en este apasionante mundo en el cual suelo desempeñarme de manera casual.
Since I was a child I was interested in many things, BMX, freediving, and above all in music, which I started to learn when I was 9 years old, I play some instruments, I never went to music lessons, I learned in that way that they call empirical, thanks to God and the universe I had an uncle who taught me a little and I continued learning on my own.
However, as time went by and I grew up, I realized that my father always took a lot of pictures, and I discovered that he was a "Photographer" which interested me a lot, I remember asking him very little for his camera and telling him "I want you to teach me how to take pictures" to which he answered me PERFECT!
I remember clearly that he sat down and made me look through the viewfinder of that simple old film camera (absolutely nothing technological) and tell me very calmly, "Put me in the center and press the button at the top...". From that first click, I fell in love with photography, a photograph that about a week after it was developed I was able to observe and the truth was very good. Thanks to my father, at a very young age I had a photography course that I never imagined would be useful for my future steps in this exciting world in which I usually work casually.
Soy padre de dos pequeños ángeles, la primogénita, quien lleva por nombre Bianca Isabella, y el segundo de nombre Jesse Sebastián, dos niños de verdad hermosos, los cuales son mis motivos de ser alguien bueno en la vida para que ellos sean el mejor reflejo de su padre, antes de tenerlo no había sentido en la vida, luego de esto entendí el porqué de crecer y aprender tantas cosas y era, para tener bastante que enseñar y tener muchísimas historias buenas que contar a tus hijos, de eso trata la vida. Por cierto, son mis preferidos en cuanto a fotografía me refiero.
Soy un inmigrante más, me tocó dejar mi país en el año 2017, cuando una crisis aguda nos obligó a buscar nuevos horizontes y ayudar a los que dejábamos atrás, recorrí Colombia y viví en Barranquilla durante 1 año, allí conocí gente muy buena y mala, luego decidí irme a Perú donde estuve dos años, un país sumamente hermoso para hacer turismo, además de la comida que es para mí la mejor del mundo! Una historia súper larga, con muchos altos y bajos, sacrificios extremos y momentos muy dulces y amargos.
I am a father of two little angels, the firstborn, who is named Bianca Isabella, and the second named Jesse Sebastian, two really beautiful children, which are my reasons to be someone good in life for them to be the best reflection of his father, before having it had not felt in life, after this I understood why to grow and learn so many things and was, to have enough to teach and have many good stories to tell your children, that's what life is all about. I am an immigrant more, I had to leave my country in 2017 when an acute crisis forced us to seek new horizons and help those we were leaving behind, I toured Colombia and lived in Barranquilla for 1 year, there I met very good and bad people, then I decided to go to Peru where I spent two years, an extremely beautiful country for tourism, besides the food that is for me the best in the world! A super long story, with many ups and downs, extreme sacrifices, and very sweet and bitter moments.
La fotografía me ha permitido ver el mundo desde otras perspectivas, inmortalizar momentos, hacer eternas a las personas mediante el sonido de un click, es algo que me apasiona, ya que la fotografía congela el tiempo, el lugar y luego al verla tendrás hermosos recuerdos de que estuviste en algún lugar o con alguna persona en determinado momento de tu vida, confieso que algunas veces con las fotos suelo recordar los sonidos y olores relacionados a esa fotografía, por ejemplo ese retrato que le tome a mi padre la primera vez me recuerda su perfume ya que al acercar su cámara a mi pequeño rostro olían sus manos a su perfume.
Este blog está creado para que compartamos un poco mis vivencias como fotógrafo y como ser humano, aprenderemos de fotografía del mejor modo posible ya que mi deseo es enseñarles lo que se, compartir mis conocimientos fotográficos y musicales también a todos ustedes, así que prepárense para un rato de aprendizaje conmigo.
Photography has allowed me to see the world from other perspectives, to immortalize moments, to make people eternal through the sound of a click, it is something that I am passionate about since photography freezes the time, the place and then when you see it you will have beautiful memories that you were somewhere or with someone at a certain time in your life, I confess that sometimes with photos I usually remember the sounds and smells related to that photograph, for example, that portrait that I took of my father the first time reminds me of his perfume because when I brought his camera close to my little face I could smell his hands with his perfume.
This blog is created to share a little of my experiences as a photographer and as a human being, we will learn about photography in the best possible way since I desire to teach you what I know, share my photographic and musical knowledge also to all of you, so get ready for a time of learning with me.
