Datos Básicos Sobre Mí
Saludos amigos de HIVE, agradecido por haberme aceptado en esta plataforma, mi nombre es Luis Villalba, soy venezolano, resido en la ciudad de Cumaná, ubicada en el oriente del país. Trabajo en el Instituto de Protección Civil y Administración de Desastres de mi ciudad, tengo dos hijos Mercelys y Pedro, soy profesional en Docencia, Gestión de Riesgos y Administración de Emergencias y Desastres; También doy clases a los nuevos funcionarios de Protección Civil en la Universidad Nacional Experimental de la Seguridad (UNES).
Basic Information About Me
Greetings friends of HIVE, grateful for having accepted me on this platform, my name is Luis Villalba, I am Venezuelan, I live in the city of Cumaná, located in the east of the country. I work at the Institute for Civil Protection and Disaster Management in my city, I have two children, Mercelys and Pedro, I am a professional in Teaching, Risk Management and Emergency and Disaster Management; I also teach new Civil Protection officials at the National Experimental Security University (UNES).

Como les expresé, tengo dos hijos, una hembra y un varón. Mercelys es la mayor, es estudiante de medicina en la Universidad de las Ciencias de la Salud y Pedro es estudiante de artes visuales (producción) en la Universidad Nacional Experimental de las Artes. Ambos son mi mayor riqueza, son la fuerza que me permite seguir avanzando en esta vida.
I present to you my children
As I expressed to you, I have two children, a female and a male. Mercelys is the oldest, she is a medical student at the University of Health Sciences and Pedro is a student of visual arts (production) at the National Experimental University of the Arts. Both are my greatest wealth, they are the strength that allows me to continue advancing in this life.
Sobre mi trabajo
El Instituto de Protección Civil y Administración de Desastres del Municipio, es el Órgano de gobierno encargado de la prevención y atención de situación de emergencia y/o desastres de origen natural o antrópico que ocurran en nuestra ciudad, su principal función se basa en prevenir, mitigar y preparar a la población a enfrentar situaciones adversas como por ejemplo; terremotos, inundaciones, incendios forestales entre otros. Cuando un evento de estos hace presencia en nuestro territorio, nos activamos conjuntamente con los bomberos de nuestra ciudad para dar respuesta humanitaria a la población afectada a través de operaciones de rescate y salvamento, primeros auxilios, refugio y atención a damnificados. Nuestro eslogan es “Solo Queremos Salvar Vidas.”
About my job
The Institute of Civil Protection and Disaster Administration of the Municipality, is the government body in charge of the prevention and care of emergency situations and/or disasters of natural or anthropogenic origin that occur in our city, its main function is based on preventing, mitigate and prepare the population to face adverse situations such as; earthquakes, floods, forest fires among others. When such an event occurs in our territory, we activate together with the firefighters of our city to provide a humanitarian response to the affected population through rescue and salvage operations, first aid, shelter and attention to victims. Our slogan is “We Just Want to Save Lives.”

Mi intención acá será subir contenido relacionado con mi trabajo y mi ciudad, brindándoles información sobre nuestras actividades, enfocándome en tips educativos preventivos y en nuestro accionar a diario, también compartiré información sobre las bellezas naturales, culturales e histórica de mi ciudad y otras actividades que más adelante les haré saber, estamos a la orden por acá en lo que les pueda ayudar.
