Mi nombre es Luis E. Mora, soy de Holguín, Cuba. Tengo 28 años de edad y un título universitario como ingeniero industrial. Una hermosa familia, que amo y me ama, pero no, aun no tengo hijos. Una carrera profesional que me brinda cierta estabilidad económica y hasta no hace tanto la absoluta certeza de llevar, lo que podríamos llamar una buena vida.
Que fácil pueden cambiar las cosas, con solo un par de preguntas provenientes de un amigo. ¿Cuál es tu propósito? ¿Sabes quién eres y quien quieres ser? Dos preguntas que a estas alturas pensé saber sus respuestas, pero me equivocaba.
En ocasiones pasamos por alto hechos importantes que consideramos tan básicos y triviales que los damos por sentados. Vives creyendo que construyes tu futuro, sin embargo, solo te estas dejando arrastrar por la corriente porque es cómodo, no requiere esfuerzo y sin importar el tamaño del cauce jamás estas solo.
Se que suena tentador si lo piensas, aunque tarde o temprano llegara el día en que levantas la cabeza y no tienes idea de donde estás, ni como fuiste a parar allí. Aunque debe ser peor alcanzarla cuando es demasiado tarde o nunca llegar a hacerlo.
Ahora estoy en un nuevo viaje, entre aguas turbulentas, rápidos y saltos de fe; pero 100% mío. Lleno de optimismo, deseos de ir a por más y la confianza de saber que no volveré a bajar la cabeza. Así fue como llegué a parar a Hive, buscándome. Estoy aquí para compartir contigo mis pensamientos, mi forma de ver el mundo a través de la fotografía y escritos.
My name is Luis E. Mora, I am from Holguín, Cuba. I am 28 years old and have a university degree as an industrial engineer. A beautiful family, which I love and loves me, but no, I still don't have children. A professional career that gives me some economic stability and until recently the absolute certainty of leading what we could call a good life.
How easily things can change, with just a couple of questions from a friend. What is your purpose? Do you know who you are and who you want to be? Two questions that at this point I thought I knew the answers to, but I was wrong.
Sometimes we overlook important facts that we consider so basic and trivial that we take them for granted. You live believing that you build your future, however, you are only allowing yourself to be dragged by the current because it is comfortable, it does not require effort and regardless of the size of the channel you are never alone.
I know it sounds tempting if you think about it, although sooner or later the day will come when you raise your head and have no idea where you are, or how you got there. Although it must be worse to reach it when it is too late or never to reach it.
Now I am on a new journey, between rough waters, rapids and leaps of faith; but 100% mine. Full of optimism, desire to go for more and the confidence of knowing that I will not lower my head again. That's how I ended up on the Hive, looking for myself. I am here to share with you my thoughts, my way of seeing the world through photography and writing.
