¡Un gran saludo amigos de Hive, que el seor les bendiga grandemente! por aquí vengo a escribirles algunas líneas para compartir algo que acontece en mi vida, se trata de un diagnóstico que ya se veía venir pero que en verdad impactó mi vida y me ha puesto algo triste y es que la diabetes ha llegado a mi vida, les dije que era algo que se veía venir porque en mi familia hay antecedentes de éste enfermedad y recientemente tuve un episodio que yo pensé que era una subida de azúcar pero resulta que es la enfermedad la que ha llegado a mi.
Me considero a mi misma como una persona honrada que se gana la vida trabajando duro con la fortaleza que me da Dios pero en vista de la situación actual de mi país Venezuela quiero compartirles mi historia y los soportes médicos de exámenes y medicinas que tengo que hacerme y comprar, espero les guste y agradezco su atención.

I come here to write you a few lines to share something that is happening in my life, it is a diagnosis that I already saw coming but that really impacted my life and has made me somewhat sad and that is that diabetes has come into my life, I told them that it was something I could see coming because there is a history of this disease in my family and I recently had an episode that I thought was a sugar spike but it turns out that it is the disease that has come to me.
I consider myself as an honest person who makes a living working hard with the strength that God gives me, but in view of the current situation in my country, Venezuela, I want to share my story and the medical support for tests and medicines that I have to take. and buy, I hope you like it and I appreciate your attention.
Primeramente por aquí les dejo el informe médico sobre mi condición actual en medicina interna donde me diagnosticaron la diabetes Mellitus tipo 2 que como tal yo la heredé de mi familia ya que en el pasado mi papá y uno de mis tíos la tenía así que no era de extrañar. Cuando fui a la consulta me tocó una doctora diferente que tenía una actitud un tanto fuerte y me trato algo feo porque fue muy directa, me dijo que yo tenía la diabetes de hace tiempo que porque no me había tratado eso pero yo no sabía ya que yo pensaba que solamente tenía una subida de azúcar y ya.
Firstly, here I leave you the medical report about my current condition in internal medicine where I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus, which as such I inherited from my family since in the past my father and one of my uncles had it so it was not To miss. When I went to the consultation, I had a different doctor who had a somewhat strong attitude and treated me somewhat badly because she was very direct. She told me that I had diabetes for a long time, why had she not treated me for that, but I didn't know why. I thought I just had a sugar spike and that's it.
Además del glucómetro que me mandaron a comprar para medir los niveles de glucosa en sangre me mandaron éstos exámenes para medir la salud de mi corazón puesto que con los valores como los tengo es necesario hacer un chequeo para estar seguros de todo.
In addition to the glucometer that they sent me to buy to measure blood glucose levels, they sent me these tests to measure the health of my heart since with the values as I have them it is necessary to do a check-up to be sure of everything.
Como tenía los valores algo descontrolados me mandaron a hacer varios exámenes importantes en la sangre como hematología completa, glicemia urea, perfil 20, etc.
Since my values were somewhat uncontrolled, they sent me to do several important blood tests such as complete hematology, urea glycemia, profile 20, etc.
Para regular los niveles de glucosa en sangre me enviaron éstos medicamentos que son la Metmorfina y la sitagliptina o en un mismo medicamento llamado Birgit de 30 comprimidos ya que el tratamiento es de por vida y tengo que tomarme uno por la mañana y otro en la noche por ende me dura muy poco.

También tengo ésta referencia de oftalmología donde se explica que por la diabetes también mi visión se puede ver afectada puesto que también tengo glaucoma el cual es una condición visual degenerativa entonces por la glucosa se puede ver afectada y hasta causar ceguera.
I also have this ophthalmology reference where it is explained that diabetes can also affect my vision since I also have glaucoma, which is a degenerative visual condition, so glucose can affect it and even cause blindness.
Y por aquí tengo ésto que es la glicemia en ayunas que es por lo mismo del azúcar, he tenido tan alto todos los valores que siento mareos, cansancio y sensaciones extrañas en mi cuerpo debido a eso mismo.
And here I have this, which is fasting blood glucose, which is due to the same sugar, I have had all the values so high that I feel dizziness, tiredness and strange sensations in my body due to that very thing.
Y por último tengo el Ecocardiograma pendiente porque con ésto de los valores el corazón debe ser revisado, como se dan cuenta tengo exámenes desde el corazón hasta la sangre jejeje pero es un transitar fuerte, también tengo que moderar
El día de hoy 20 de Mayo mi esposo me acompañó al cardiólogo para hacerme los exámenes que les comenté que me harían pero lastimosamente no los hacen aquí y en otros lugares privados tienen un costo total de $45 los cuales no los poseo.
La situación actual del país obliga a los Venezolanos a vivir para trabajar ya que siempre tenemos que buscar nuevas formas de rebuscarnos para el alimento, pagar deudas y comprar algunas medicinas ya que la gran mayoría están exorbitantemente costosas.
Today, May 20, my husband accompanied me to the cardiologist to make the requests that I told them they would make, but unfortunately they do not make them here and in other private places they have a total cost of $45, which I do not have.
The current situation in the country forces Venezuelans to live to work since we always have to look for new ways to scavenge for food, pay debts and buy some medicines since the vast majority are exorbitantly expensive.

STOPAmiga, mucho animo, puedes controlar la diabetes, con mucha disciplina, con tus medicamentos y sobretodo en la alimentación. Alguna vez, te habían diagnosticado resistencia a la insulina?. Yo tengo resistencia a la insulina y se que la he descuidado, es momento de prestar atención de nuevo.

Te envío muchas fuerzas y mucho ánimo! Es complicado recibir un diagnóstico y puedo imaginar la incertidumbre pero como te decían abajo, la disciplina y el deseo por estar bien de salud pueden ayudar a mejorar y cambiar los hábitos alimenticios!
En mi familia también hay mucha tendencia a tener diabetes tipo 2 pero no le dan importancia a los chequeos médicos. Lo importante y muy admirable de tu parte es que te estás ocupando de vos misma 💖 ÁNIMOS!
