Hola soy Carlos, estudiantes de ciencias de la salud.
En toda la historia la ciencia a sido el pilar fundamental para el desarrollo de las civilizaciones, el ser humano siempre ha tratado de explicar la realidad de los acontecimientos transcendentales como lo son la vida y la muerte, la medicina humana tuvo comienzo en la prehistoria desde el uso de rituales mágicos por sacerdotes y chamanes, hasta el uso de hierbas y una medicina religiosa que acudió a Dioses para entender lo inexplicable.
La Historia de la medicina se remonta a civilizaciones como el antiguo Egipto, La India, China. Uno de los primeros personajes históricos reconocidos por la humanidad ha sido Hipócrates, siendo este el padre de la Medicina, siendo el primero en describir signos clínicos de muchas enfermedades en su Obra Prognosis (El libro de los pronósticos)

Claramente, al ser la medicina una ciencia donde se ha obtenido el conocimiento de forma metodológica y experimental en un área específica, para obtener resultados positivos sobre un problema de salud dado. De esta forma desde la antigüedad ha evolucionado el estudio de la medicina, quizás los chamanes sacerdotes o religiosos no sabían que era un método de investigación científica, pero de forma empírica lograron tal vez, ayudar a los suyos en ese momento dado.
Esto deja en claro algo, evolución, evolución como la teoría propuesta de Charles Darwin, aplicándose a la medicina como el cambio a través del tiempo, dando origen a nuevas técnicas y formas de aplicar la medicina y descartando aquello que no favorezca a la supervivencia de la ciencia médica, algo parecido a la selección natural pero basado en un conocimiento empírico hasta una cierta época de la historia de la humanidad.
Teniendo claro la evolución, es impresionante dar un vistazo atrás y entender y ver lo que ha avanzado la humanidad y hacia donde se proyecta en un futuro, futuro que actualmente es discutible.
Sin embargo, la medicina no es solo hierbas y Dioses como lo creían los antepasados, es ciencia, ciencia que ha sido fundamental para salvaguardar la vida de millones en los últimos siglos. Muchos conocimientos se han ido sumando a la rama médica, desde la base que es la biología, química, física, matemáticas como bases fundamentales, hasta los grandes avances de la ingeniería biomédica en el desarrollo de equipos y dispositivos diagnósticos, claro está, ha sido un compendio de muchos conocimientos aplicados al bienestar social.

Esta pequeña ventana, ha sido creada con la intención de llevarlos a ustedes conocimientos médicos sencillos y curiosos, desde como una ley de la física actúan en nuestro sistema cardiovascular, el amplio mundo de la microbiología y la evolución de estos microorganismos y los grandes descubrimientos que han sido pilar para que hoy en día tu puedas leer mi presentación, los cambios a través de la historia, personajes históricos hasta investigaciones llevadas a cabo en la actualidad.

Hi, I'm Carlos, health sciences students.
Throughout history, science has been the fundamental pillar for the development of civilizations, the human being has always tried to explain the reality of transcendental events such as life and death, human medicine began in prehistory since the use of magical rituals by priests and shamans, to the use of herbs and a religious medicine that turned to the Gods to understand the inexplicable.
The history of medicine goes back to civilizations such as ancient Egypt, India, China. One of the first historical figures recognized by humanity has been Hippocrates, this being the father of Medicine, being the first to describe clinical signs of many diseases in his Obra Prognosis (The Book of Forecasts).

Clearly, since medicine is a science where knowledge has been obtained methodologically and experimentally in a specific area, to obtain positive results on a given health problem. In this way since ancient times the study of medicine has evolved, perhaps the priests or religious shamans did not know that it was a scientific research method, but perhaps empirically they managed to help their own at that given moment.
This makes something clear, evolution, evolution like the proposed theory of Charles Darwin, applying to medicine as change over time, giving rise to new techniques and ways of applying medicine and discarding what does not favor the survival of medical science, something similar to natural selection but based on empirical knowledge up to a certain time in human history.
Having clear evolution, it is impressive to take a look back and understand and see what humanity has advanced and where it is projected in the future, a future that is currently debatable.
However, medicine is not just herbs and Gods as the ancestors believed, it is science, a science that has been essential to safeguard the lives of millions in recent centuries. Much knowledge has been added to the medical branch, from the base that is biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics as fundamental bases, to the great advances of biomedical engineering in the development of diagnostic equipment and devices, of course, it has been a compendium of much knowledge applied to social welfare.

This small window has been created with the intention of bringing you simple and curious medical knowledge, from how a law of physics acts on our cardiovascular system, the wide world of microbiology and the evolution of these microorganisms and the great discoveries that They have been a pillar so that today you can read my presentation, the changes through history, historical figures and research carried out today.
